The Teton Dam Failure
The Teton Dam was a federally built earthen dam on the Teton River in southeastern Idaho , set between Fremont and Madison Counties, USA which when filling for the first time suffered a catastrophic failure on June 5, 1976.

Thats it? Ruined sugar city and almost took off the map! Closed Rexburg for how long? People stayed at college who didnt live on"the Hill",busineses were closed with products going down the road in the water. I think you can do better than that.
