I retract my question, thanks for the helpfull people, sorry for the others. My memories of Ashtabula as a child have certainly changed if this forum is any indication of the residents.

Some people are very immature...Ashtabula sucks..Stay where you are..I can't wait to get the hell out of here.

Not everyone is like this, Kevin. Go to the other forums. This one is tainted in the worst way. I wasn't going to come back here, but saw your post and had to say something. You can't ask anything, say anything, or advertise for anything without these few making a mockery of everything and everyone. This is their funtime with no regards to anyone..and believe it or not, they have kids. Don't waste your time here. There are at least 3 other nice ones. Look at the thread titles and see what each one has done to all of them. |

Yes it does. It was clled Big Rock by everyone and it was at the western end of Walnut Blvd. across from Duquesne Ave.in Ashtabula. There were five rows of trees there. Now there maybe a few trees standing because of the erosion. The rock can be seen fom the eastern part of the bluff and the steps were at the west end of the clearing. The jetty was about midway. The steps and jetty are gone now and the Corps of Engineers have lined the beach with huge pieces of granite to stop erosion but big rock is still there. |

Thanks Dave! I'll follow your directions!

I know that rock, too. It was along the highland beach area behind what was once the Laird's home. I didn't think you meant that rock, since it is a bit smaller, but we did jump off of that rock a lot. Big time fun when the beaches were so great that you could walk from Saybrook to Walnut Beach, swim anywhere and have beach parties. |

well the weather is HOT and a little bit of clouds are up in the sky with the sun, maybe a lil breeze. other than that its a perfect day at the beach. but ummmm sir don't say for us to grow up we are not the ones who started talking trash on this, it was good ole guest and good ole Harry. And on these forums that's all you will find. So either join in or just don't look at these.

Wow, you all have some serious issues going on. I
used to live in Ashtabula county and like to check these sites out every once in a while to see what's happening on that side of the state. It's too bad that you everyone has to sort through all the petty (and yes, immature) crap some of you are posting. In fact, I was under the assumption the were rules about some of the things you are flinging back and forth. It surely doesn't say too much for NE Ohio. |
