Which cell phone network has the best coverage here in Ashtabula, whether by the water, inside restaurants, the mall, etc.

I have verizon and the only place I cannot make a call from is the mens room in home depot. I don't who I would call from there anyway. By the lake on the lake it does not matter the signal is always 2 bars. I've tried others and sent them back after 2 weeks of agravation.

We noticed if you buy a Nokia or Motarola, the reception is much better at our house because the Alltel tower is 4 miles away. We have an LG that works fine in town but not in Kingsville. The Nokia works a lot better.

We have an LG phone with Verizon Service and we can't get any signal in Geneva On The Lake. If we go further on down to 90 we get some signal. We're trying to find out what service works better at GOTL. Does any one have any suggestions?? We've looked into Alltel, but they don't have any stores in Pgh.

We have Sprint, and noticed we can't get any signal in GOTL either. As for Ashtabula, it comes & goes, from street to street.

TracPhone is the best value if your not a big motor mouth. Get a double minute for life card or phone package and works across all towers as they buy blocks of airtime. Had verizon for to long only thing that was for sure about them was the price going up every other month tax sircharge ect. Ported number to tracphone and have saved so much cash not even funny. They even sent me a replacement phone for the one I bought (under 20 bucks) when it was acting odd, figured they would of said buy another one you cheap SOB but no sent out a better model to boot. When I had issue with verizon was told to buy a new phone or sign up for long term to get phone fixed even though I had "coverage" for damaged phone on contract.

So that's my pick no mouthly bill same coverage and towers.

thas tru tracfone does work really good, but at lake shore park or the mall i don't get a signal at all with it. when i had my guyz boost it worked good at both places, and u can get unlimited minutes and txts 4 $50 a month, but i still got my silly tracfone.

hayz, I have no trouble at either place. Heck I even get a bar or two down at Geneva on the Lake and that's AT&T's playground. They sent me a LG flip as a replacement for the Mota 98 that was giving me fits. I sure they are fine phones by large but like everything a bad one or two gets shipped. I blame it on the EPA's ban on good old solider the new stuff tends to grow hairs that short out circuts when they bridge gabs.

Either way I don't miss that monthly bill.

I have verizon......Forget alltel...Frankly they are all to over priced.
What Ashtabule needs is a "good" internet server. So far Windstream is my pick but again it is about $10 to $15. to overpriced.
These companies will never wise up and realize "give the buyer a price break and the buyer will stay with them for life".........Oh well I may change anytime.
I wish we had at least two Cable TV chooses. Anybody got a better ideal instead of Satilite or Cable?

Verizon for me. At Lake Shore Park or anywhere near the lake, it still works, unless there's a huge storm brewing. Then it's iffy. I sometimes have a little trouble at Walmart (inside the store). I'm not sure why.

After four years with [email protected] I went with boost mobile ...There is no hidden charges just get what you pay for ...My computer was down for a bit so I just went to the store to pay my bill ([email protected]) They informed me it was five dollar charge to pay with cash. wtf is that!!! charge cash to pay cash!!? Anyway to steal food off ur kids table I guess. I guess to accept the charge would be easy just pay the 5 bucks and be done..but wait a damn second still don't make since if I am a valued customer it 's such a burden to them to accept my payment free of charge. As a former waitress and now nurse I know all about customer service and I work hard for my money so I choose to stand up to these thieves. Take my business elsewhere. The customer service rep on the phone informed me "well I'm not sure if your aware but almost all other cell services charge for payment service of cash". Here I'm just venting but it's not just the 5 dollars here it's the banks the utility companies the having to purchase warranties on things companies should stand by for free ..they are all ripping us off and all our things and services are junk...so as one person I'm starting with [email protected]
