Like..."Dead Indian Memorial Road."
It was always, "DEAD INDIAN", and shall always remain, "DEAD INDIAN."
The Medford Mail Tribune, the 97% of Ashland, et al, have just too much time on their hands to flounder in the surf.
As for the schools...
The teachers need to teach,(two in our family taught). No worries about names. Get back to the basics, and the "Indians, Cavemen, Pirates, Crusaders, and Panthers," will get along just fine!
