NAFTA and Globalization sounds good on paper, but anyone who thinks that it moves toward equity and vibrant global markets needs to think again. Do impoverished countries with little or no viable resources gain? No. Do dictatorships and communist states like Venezuela and China, respectively, gain? Yes. Our politicians support NAFTA while Hugo Chavez buddies up with OPEC and also with the terrorist states that promote oil at 104 dollars a barrel, at the expense of the world and the US. Our politicians support NAFTA while China does'nt allow open trade of their currency, and while the US currently suffers a 3-4 trillion dollar trade deficit with them. I won't even get to the heart of incredible human rights violations.
