How could the fire department hire a person that they knew was charged with raping a child? That is not only discusting but scary. They should get off their high horses and have their head examined.

From what I understand, he has now been relieved of duty. I suspect the Chief had no idea what he was accused of in Ashland when he was hired.
Imagine having your kids go through a tour of the fire station with him there?

The Charlton Chief was well aware of the charges against Mr. Belmore, he acknowledged that point in yesterday's paper.
