The similarities are scary, folks.

Both were given money they didn’t earn and have made terrible investments with it.

Both have committed multiple crimes although Batchelor is the only one that has been arrested (multiple times).

Both have businesses that have failed miserably due to mismanagement. The Ambassador was a disaster, how many times did they run out of food you had to wait two hours for? Literally the worst restaurant that’s ever operated in this area. Oh, and that great new place he has in Ironton that has been there for a year but never actually opened, the “Chat Room”.

Hey Rob, 1995 called, it wants it’s internet lingo back.

Both have horrible grammar and are incapable of basic communication.

The thin skinned Econ Dev would not just let the guy fail, he went after him for his worse offense, criticizing Econ Dev. The mayor and three commissioners refrained from responding to his nonsense, but one commissioner chose to get in a social media foodfight with the Ambassador guy, with Build Ashland supporters chirping in as well.
How’s that worked out?

Well, they’re about to destroy him in a lawsuit that was totally warranted, and BA is doing great, more volunteers than ever.

You can’t slander people with made up accusations even if they are public officials. He’s going to find that out the hard way.

The ACLU proved Batchelor’s case before he ever filed it.

Yes, a new special judge appointed from outside the area. Chris and Brian’s defense of “immunity” has been thrown out. They have both been determined to be public figures, which means the burden of proof on any defamation case lies on them. As Public Officials, unless there is proof of an ABSOLUTE lie, there is no defemation.

Batchelor has filed a 22 page lawsuit against all involved. Highlands Museum and Ashland Aliiance will be required to turn over the records of Alcohol sales and payment of taxes on those sales at their fund raising events, which they never did. Both these organizations looking at paying back taxes and fines.

This is going to trial and will be decided by a jury, as well as the damages to be paid.

Brian Clark, Amanda Clark and Chris Pullem lost this case before it started. They never should have started this fight.

Attorneys for Batchelor, there are 6, are courtroom Hitmen. They go after multi million corporations as a profession. I don’t think bubba system in Ashland will stand this one.

I just looked it up, this case has been moved to Lawrence County, no longer in Boyd County.

The Judge is a Harvard Graduate.

The docket shows it as still pending in Boyd Co. No change of venue motion has been filed.
