btw if fairview educates so well, why dont they try leading by example. its the old rule of cheaters never win. theres always going to be a loop hole around restrictions, that doesnt mean its right!! teach them that!
you can't really cheat with natural talent. fairview is glad they have new student athletes. the more the better. also there is no bribing in this. the boy from ceredo has chose this on his own terms. when the coaches saw what he could do they were very pleased with his work. so yes, they are going to show interest. but no bribing. and you cant just bash on fairview just because you have false information when other schools out there are actually bribing athletes to goto their school.

Yes, no one ever recruits. None of my grade school friends that excelled in sports, transferred to Ashland and Boyd County for the education.
It happens everywhere from coast to coast, and you're just now seeing it? Heck, look at some of the nations super elite athletes during signing season. A lot are home schooled and just play for the stacked traveling high school team of their choice.

And again, not recruiting. No one is getting promised a scholarship. What is Ashland teaching over there for you not to know what the word "recruiting" means?

Those Hunington boys may have been recruited from Rose Hill, however that is not what started the KHSAA investigation. Look at the timeline!! And it is not cheating to give boys a second chance!! And as far as why Hunington boys coming to Ashland, where did Coach Mcpeek play??? I know!! I believe it was Marshall!!! See the connection?? When you follow a player and know he is coaching players will follow!! Good luck to all the local teams!! Let's put Ky back on the map!!! I also hear that Most of the local teams are stacked this year!!! Can't wait for football!!

Fairview has been bringing these kids in from WVA since Nate's third season, that would have been 2010, most of them from Huntington High. You know why? Fairview couldn't beat Raceland with their own kids, go ahead and take a look back. The whole program is dirty from Bill Musick all the way down to Nate McPeek. Teachers have been let go to make room for new coaches, hometown kids have been pushed out of the way so that the thugs from WVA can play. What I want to know is when Fairview plans to play some stiffer competition? The contracts on some of these cupcakes should be expiring soon. If they are who they claim to be, why don't they step up and play a regular season series with Pikeville, Russell or a Northern KY team?

BTW, recruitment of a player does not require a scholarship offer or money changing hands, read the KHSAA handbook if you don't believe me!!

Really? Russell has won a couple state championships. They play Ashland, Ironton and Raceland every year. Nobodies huh? Like I said, Fairview is running a dirty program. I'm tired of the stories about giving kids a second chance and opening up their arms to foster kids, of course the prerequisite is that they are able to play football. It's all going to come crashing down. Brush up on your history, everywhere that Garry McPeek has gone, troubles have followed, mostly missing money.

Raceland fans should just stop crying about Fairviews superiority and just beat them. You guys look like whining little bitches. Either way your still just single A. It's like Barney fife calling out Clint Eastwood.

What if one of these boys that transferred to Fairview chose Ashland, Russell, Raceland, or Boyd instead, would they have been turned away? What if they had dad's, grandfather's, uncles, or friends that had played for those schools previously, and they want to play there also, would they be turned away. But I guess the real question is, What if Fairview sucked this year would anyone really give a shit? No, No, and No. Lol. This is high school football people......14-18 year old KIDS. Good Luck to all the local team!!!!

Kids do need second chance. Get over it and Give these boys credit for trying to get n better places. If Raceland, Ashland would have got them not a word would have been said. Good luck to all schools this year! Go Eagles
