Is 'Walker' the one that Jamie killed and if so does it say that there was drugs found in both of their blood tests?

Lisa didn't cause the accident, Jami did.

There were no drugs found in lisas system, jami caused the wreck and killed someone, obviously the states attorney and a grand jury agreed.....you cant just kill someone and walk away, she needs to b held accountable for her actions!!!!

I seriously cannot believe there are people out there wishing all of these bad things on another human being. Does she deserve to go to prison? Absolutely. But getting on here and saying some of these things are going a bit overboard, I mean could you imagine the torture this woman goes through every waking minute starting as soon as she gets outta bed knowing she killed someone? And having to live with it everyday? I know for myself that would be far worse than going to prison for a few years.

If that's the case then why does the newspaper say there was drugs in her system? Either way..Lisa was just as guilty putting others (and herself) in jeopardy getting behind the wheel high on dope. Lisa just got lucky in not getting caught as to where Jami didn't. Both are guilty!

Because I'm sure she drove impaired before she got killed and she just got lucky and never got caught. Had the tables been turned I don't think you'd wish for her to be in jail, waking up everyday knowing you killed someone is enough punishment alone!
if that is true

If that is true, then drug test Jami right now. See if there are still drugs in her system, then see how sorry she really is. Might go a long way in court. If she is still using, then maybe sorry isn't enough.

How can sorry be enough? Come on people. It doesn't matter if both were on drugs. One caused the wreck and killed someone. I doubt very seriously the one that was walking around these past few months thought very much about it.
Now I am just waiting for the comment that you would be on drugs to if you killed someone needlessly.
I don't personally know both girls but I can say I do know the name Jami from other encounters with the news.
And to WRONG, you are so WRONG in thinking that knowing you killed someone is punishment enough!! Where do you get off with a comment like that? I wouldn't wish this on anyone and you act like it is no big deal. That it is nothing. Let her walk around day in and day out because she KILLED someone and it may cross her mind every now and then and it is okay? I don't care if she never sleeps again because she is thinking of what she done, IT IS NOT PUNISHMENT ENOUGH. A life was taken and she needs to pay for it. PERIOD.
Neither should have been on drugs and driving, but one caused the death of the other. Call it like it is. Manslaughter.

And Walker committed attempted manslaughter! Accidents happen and it could've very well of been the other way around and Walker could've (and did put others in harm) when getting behind the wheel impaired. Both are guilty! But unfortunately one has died for the kind of decisions that both girls like to make!

what the drug tests dont confirm is whether or not they were intoxicated at the moment of the ACCIDENT, and i purposely emphasize accident. And this goes for both Walker and Simms. For people to use the drugs as their main point of contention is a little bit absurd. Was walker high at the time of the accident. None of us know except for her Husband who was with her and Im pretty sure he wouldnt say she was even if she was falling all over herslf. Jami apparently wasnt atleast noticeably intoxicated or theyd of took her right then to jail. Marijuana stays in the blood for a month or better and pills stay several days, im not sure of the science but it seems to me like this may be a hard case for the prosecution b/c youd have to prove she was intoxicated at the exact time of imoact and i dont know if they can. But I do know Jami and shes not a bad person, and if she tested pos for drugs that sucks but using that as the basis to be so negative while portraying Walker as some holy nun or something, and I pray she rest in peace, and pray for her children, when she was as guilty of using drugs as Jami. Id be surprised if Jami served a single day

You are heartless. I am Lisa's family and I wasn't going to say anything on here, but I had to. Right now my heart is breaking and to read what you posted infuriates me. If you didn't know Lisa than thats a HUGE loss for you, she was amazing. I don't want her to be put out like a druggie on here because she was nothing close to it. Please our family is going through SO much right now and please don't add anymore hurt. The medicine in Lisa's system wasn't anything hard but was prescribed to her at the time. Jami had 3 different drugs that im pretty sure wasn't doctor recommended in her system as a cocktail, with a child in the back seat, going 65 intoa curve while reaching for her cell phone. My cousin didn't get lucky at all, she can not hold her kids again, kiss her husband, tell us she loves us again! No one got lucky in this situation. There is two families hurt in this, and two lives ruined. Please people just please have some respect and a heart. Thanks.

Yes 1 died and the other 1 shouldn't walk around in a fog thinking it is okay just because the other has something in her system also. Are you that retarded? It doesn't make it okay!!!! She wasn't quilty of killing herself, so what could have been is not a factor here.
If I go out tomorrow and lose control of my car and hit someone head on and they die and we both were chewing bubblegum does it erase the fact that I caused a death? Or would I be at fault? We all know I would be at fault. So get off of blaming the deceased and blame the one who lost control of their car. Drugs aside, she is still at fault.

Id say they all had something in their system..question is, who was buzzing? Who was impaired? How will you know? If I take a pill...yesterday, I wreck today.. That pill is in my system, but I'm not " high" on the pill. What I'm saying is... Is it possible for both drivers to be impaired?

According to blood tests, there was evidence of drug use in both drivers.
The bigger story is that Harry Potter was also indicted. I didn't know he lived in Vanceburg...

just because their were drugs found in the victims system, does not mean that they were illeagal. They could have been prescribed to her and she would not have been high. The newspaper article is very vague in their reporting and half the time they mess the real story up! Bottom line is there was a life lost because of a careless, druggie who should have never been on the road driving that fast and not paying attention. I feel bad for the family of the victim, and yes, she was a victim. It is scary to think that when we get in our cars to go somewhere that someone beside us on the highway could be so high or messed up that they could kill an innocent person. This area is pathetic and there are so many people that stay messed up! Those people need help but you cant help them if they dont want to do it for themselves. Sad all the way around!

...and every addict or user tries giving justification of it being "perscribed" to them as to why they do or have to take pills. Makes me sick! When the real problem is that they are running around hopping pull doctors looking for one to "perscribe" them as many narcotics they can. How do you know that what was in Jami's system wasn't "prescribed" to her?
