It seems like any time someone says they're an atheist in this city, a whole mob goes after them and beats the shit out of them.

What's the deal with Christians? Why can't you accept others beliefs?

Hello, Atheist. If you're serious and not trolling, I will answer your questions; or try to, anyway. First, I just want to know what you mean by a whole mob goes after them and beats them? That confused me a little. Did something happen to you?

Because they think that just because they walk in a building to believe in their god that they're better then us average people who do believe in god who don't have to go in a church to have god.

Anyone thinks different then them are always wrong they don't care to walk on anyone but not all are like this just a good part reason why I just stop going to church I think most Christian people are going to hell anyways if god accp people that act like that idk if I wanna go then.

I cant speak for other Christians, but i will speak for myself and stand on the truths of Gods Word. Trust me, I am not better then ANYBODY. The Apostle Paul calls himself the chief sinner in 1Tim 1:15, but believe me, I am the lowest of the low. I don't go into a building to believe in God. I go into our Church building to worship with other believers and get fed the Word of God. It doesnt make me saved or mean that I believe because i go there. However, with that being said, a Christian SHOULD be in church (Hebrews 10:25). Where should a football player be? On a football field. Where should a pilot be? In a plane. Where should a Christian be? In a church. If you and I are both saved (you mentioned you were a believer), God's Grace is the reason that you and I are no better then each other. You're right, you dont HAVE to be at a church to be saved, but you SHOULD be in church because you ARE saved and because of what Christ done for us. I'm not telling you this because i hate you or because I'm "rude" like the author of this post may believe. I'm telling you this because I care about you and only want the best for you and your precious family. I pray that helps some. If not, let me know.

The BIBLE calls organized religion THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.(Rev 17:5)and tells us to get out of her. Hebrews 10:25 is not talking about going to a church building, but rather gathering together to pray and worship in 2 or more. I am a Christian and I agree with being lower than low it take GOD to show you how evil you are, but also I do not attend a church.

But judgement looms under every steeple,
with lofty glances from lofty people.
That can't see past her scarlet letter,
and they've never even met her.

Song by Casting Crowns about a young pregnant girl seeking help from the Church.

Your words inspired me today. Thank you for posting!! I'm new to the area and am looking for a church. I haven't been in church regularly for a few years so I'm hoping to find a place where they won't think I'm awful for not being in church. There were many reasons, most of which I choose not to discuss. I'm going to post a new thread asking for suggestions on a new church. I've been quite hesitant to do so due to the nature of topix, i.e., people can be nasty. But that's on them I guess if they want to say nasty things. But again thank you.

When it comes to nonbelievers, "manners" are saying "please hang around"! I don't want some Satanist influencing my kids, family, or community! I'd rather be blunt and be considered "rude" than idly sit by and allow these skyclad esbat rite - practicing, Faith-bashing pagans, who may well be authors of the next "The Grand Book of the Godless and the Free" book to destroy everything decent and good in my life! I will never embrace the Lord of Lies, or his minions, in any way! I encourage all true Christians to do whatever it takes to expel all agents of Satan from our community who will not accept the Truth of Jesus Christ!

Atheists are not satanists! We do not believe in god therefore we also do not believe in Satan. Satanists believe in god, because if there was no God then there would not be a Satan. I respect your right to believe, therefore you should respect my right not to believe.

You either worship Jesus, or you worship Satan. There is no lukewarm.
Do you worship Jesus? He offers you free Salvation, but it is up to you to accept it.

I don't believe in God but yet I think organized religion is a good thing. Without it people would do what they wanted because they wouldn't be afraid of going to hell. Things would get really annoying. Christians are sometimes rude but I mostly overlook them because they most likely have a miserable life.
