Hey all...that big storm we just had was apparently a tornado. My neighbor just called the news and they said that not all tornadoes show up on their radar but they said we definitely just had one. Scary stuff! Where I live, baby trees were bent, almost touching the ground, golf ball sized hail, parts of our road got ripped up, WSAZ just said that a roof got blown off one of the apartments where I live, our dumpster got moved & car alarms were going off. SCARY! You could hear the wind whipping outside too, and it knocked us back when we tried to open our front door. Has anyone heard anything else about it?

I definitely think it was a tornado. My grill went flying across the porch. Golf ball size hail. Cars trapped on 13 th street in 4 foot of water and it is rising!!! A baby was trapped inside!! Fires everywhere lines down trees on cars and houses. Very scary. Pray for everyone!!

WSAZ is here now taking videos and doing interviews. My friend posted a pic on facebook of 13th street, its pretty flooded. There's a gray car underwater they said. Oh, and WSAZ said the tornado hit up by Wal-Mart.

13th st is horrible near the midtown plaza. It's closed right now and cars are flooded. 23 was bad just past the turn to go up toward walmart (going away from the city). I thought the hail was going to break my windshield. Rt. 5, 716, 207, and Dietrich are all closed or terrible. It took me over an hour to get home on what is normally a 20 min drive.

Was in town about 5:30. Never seen anything like it. Took an hour to get home. Saw firetruck stuck behind nursing home on Oakview Road. Streets were all flooded. Looked bad. Cars were stalled in the water.

Yes, flooding and downed trees along with hail, but there was not a tornado. I live near WalMart, and we didn't have a tornado. Not to mention, check a credible news source, not topix.
