I agree about the personal problems Mike has had causing him to be unfocused and not up to par. He is not doing a good job these days. Go to someone else.

DUI Case wrote:
I had a pending DUI case years ago, that I should have been able to beat myself. I'll never say the man isn't intelligent, he is, and I'll never say the man doesn't know Law, because he does.
Facts: I blew an .081 on a faulty intoxilyzer. This case wasn't in Boyd County (he made everyone, including the judge in my town angry over the antics that were pulled in the trial and it was taken out on me in return.) The KSP trooper that arrested me refused to have me transported to a nearby facility for a blood test, which easily would've proved my innocence. A jail official that I knew on a personal level witnessed this and testified in court for me and wound up losing his job afterwards. Mike would never just "listen" to me when I wanted to voice my opinions on certain facts, as he always had a better outlook on my life in this situation than me. Bottom line, I spent over a couple thousand up front cash money and another $800 on a trial and wound up serving 7 days for a DUI, first offense.
Thanks Mike.
I take it that although you were satisfied with Mr Curtis as an attorney, obviously You have some misgivings on other issues involved., I was wondering whether he works with Lawsuits ? Wish You the Best, and very sorry you endured a DUI First Offense...Hard times, but life's circumstances must get better!

He'll take your money, promise you the moon, and then come back with 9 different moons for you to choose from. He's a fantastic lawyer that has helped many. And if you're going to pull the old "but he's so expensive" card out the deck, you might as well just put it back. You get what you pay for.

He didn't do well for the guy that tried to kill his wife because he actually did it. Mike told him to take the plea bargain!! But he refused. Its all in the paper, Tom screwed him self with that one. No lawyer could help him.

Court is an auction block.
Whoever pays their attorney the most wins.
The State pays the prosecutor well.
The prosecutor just wants to Win, regardless of facts or evidence, to stay prosecutor.
The Defense just wants to get paid.
Justice is dead.
