I have two friends who live there. Both older. One apartment is nice. The other is horrible. I clean for both of them. I think it just depends on who lives in it. The apartments are pretty basic. Nothing special. One of the women I know that lives there, lives in a two bedroom, pays full price and pays a little over 300 a month. The other one is low income and pays 25.00 a month, I believe. In GlaLow, the living rooms have carpet and the rest concrete. The kitchen has painted cinder block walls. With dark brown cabinets.

I have lived at Glalow for several years and love it. Hmm is correct, it depends on who lives in it. All the apts I have been in are very nice! Good management. Check one out. As far as the cinder block, I like that, if there was ever a fire in the other apt, you'll be glad for that wall. I feel very safe here, as well.

ITS WAAAY BETTER THAN BRUCE AND HILLCREST CREEKBRIDGE yes you will see drugs everywhere BUT not like you do in those places where its mostly these teens hooked on drugs with babys and no daddy running around looking for pills. The management is great and they will NOT take any crap from anybody!!!

I heard creekbridge is nice, especially with the new management supposedly getting rid of all the drug activity, also remodeling the apartments so they are supposed to be real nice now. Don't know any of this for sure but I'd say it's worth looking into.

I know someone who lives there, it is nicer than hillcrest and the others like it, probably not as nice as creekbridge but there isn't a huge drug problem, there are a lot of families and older people there. The air conditioners are somewhat older and they won't let you install a window unit, but its tolerable if you get a fan going on the stairs. Try to get a 2 bedroom if you can, the 1 bedrooms are only 1 floor and very limited space. The apts are livable and they at least have a maintenance staff that will come fix things. There is a quiet rule after 9 or 10, and the lady who works in the office and handles rent etc is not too bad but like I said they have rules that they will get onto you for breaking. Oh, you get 1 parking spot and guests are technically supposed to park by the front office and leave their car there, otherwise you risk a ticket if you park on the curb or getting towed if you're in someone else's parking spot.

they let you put flowers out here and have never said anything to people about not being allowed to water them.I dont know where you got that but thats not correct information. There are pepole who put out lots of flowers and a few even have medium sized gardens and I'm one of them snd nothing has ever been said to me !!

The management is very nice I used to live there, but they are limited as to what they can do. The apartments are in bad need of updating new windows, new efficiency water heaters and furnaces. Parking is the pits each unit only has 1 space even if it is a two bedroom and trust me you will get towed if you are in someone else space. Maintenance is pretty quick to come fix things again limited as to what kind of repair they can do. For the money they arent that bad but it based on income level and deposits are required. We did plant flowers but they pay for water so they do hav the right to say not to water your plants. But they are bad to raise the rent when they have a lot of maintenance calls.

I lived there for one year. Paid the "full market price" and it was well worth it. I miss my 2 bedroom apartment. It was so nice and soooo cheap. I would have never moved if I had not taken a job out of town. Linda (manager) is great. Maintenance is pretty quick, you just have to ask once and its done. I was shocked that a place this nice is low income housing. To be honest I found this post by seaching for picture of the place because I miss it.

I had a 3 bedroom apt there 18 years ago. It cost $385/mn. It was nice to have the space.

Not assisted living but assisted living is much more expensive. Possibly meals on wheels or meals he could heat up, FIVCO has waiting list but may want to get him on it

Creekbridge is not all they say it is...the "new management" is basically a 2 faced bitch, and the "remodeling" is all cheap. I lived there a long time and let's just say the older management, were at least kind about calling when you need something. Brian is not a nice person btw. Also, the drugs are just as bad as they used to be, just not so much out in the open at least during the daytime
