I know doctor’s office are crowed, people bring everyone with them, and arrive earlier for their appointments but my goodness having others go before you is ridicules. Three people were called back way after I was waiting for an hour and half. I work for my paycheck and my private insurnce, my time is precious to me. If I would have known there would be a long wait, then I would have scheduled off more from work. So unprofessional and undedicated.

He has double the patients than any other ENT, and only sees pts in Ashland once a week, due the fact he has other offices in order to see all of his patients at a more convienent location for them. Not to mention his surgery days and delays they may cause. He is also the chief of surgery so he gets called away mutiple times while trying to get his work done. Feel greatful you have such an experienced doctor.

If you are talking about Dr Baker the throat doctor I should tell about my experience with him. I was sent to him by my former family physician because a MRI detected a mass in my throat. He is a nice man but I question his work. He operated on me to remove the mass (it was non malignant ). A couple months later the mass returned and he said I needed more surgery (which he performed). Again the mass returned and he wanted me to have another operation, this time by his office mate Dr Sassler. I went to Dr. Scott Gibbs who is with Dr Joseph Touma. Dr. Gibbs diagnosed my problem and took care of it with medication. I had two unnecessary surgeries because of Dr. Baker. Thank goodness I went to Dr. Gibbs for a second opinion!!!

Dr. Baker is a doctor, not a miracle-worker. Your body is going to do what it's going to do sometimes, regardless of medical intervention. I can't believe you're trying to blame him for that. I mean, in all likelihood, your mass will eventually return, regardless of what Dr. Gibbs did. Just wait and see.

It's been two tears now and just taking Nexium has solved my problem. Dr. Gibbs figured out acid reflux was the reason for my issues. Baker wanted me to endure a third surgery, which I certainly did not want or need. I am Leary of KDMC and their physicians who think of making money first and their patients second.

He was not called away, no delays due to him. He should realize his stafff is a reflection of him. Been to him twice before found him to be professional but his staff is very lacking. Been to other ENTS. My last visit, no one could not find a scrip pad, then the follow-up visit three people was seen before me, even though they had appointments after. Still waiting.

I recently saw Dr Baker for the first time. My wait time was minimal, 15-20 mins. His staff was professional and courteous. He was extremely nice and thorough. I suffer from migraines and I feel like I will finally find out why and be able to feel better. I definently recommend him.

I recently had surgery on my sinuses. Most painful thing I've ever had in my life. I had no idea it would be that bad. But, Dr. Baker gave me plenty of pain pills. The problem I have is I was supposed to have my stents taken out the following week but he decided to go out of town so I had to keep them in an extra three days. And, the wait time in his office is ridiculous. It is terribly mismanaged.

I know someone with almost the exact same issue. The difference is that even though he was back in his office on Monday no one could get in touch with him. He was called and paged by his staff (supposedly) and by the hospital, yet he never responded. This person was hospitalized and never saw him. It was left up to the doctor on call for him even though he wasn't on call for him any longer. His office staff is incredibly rude and don't seem to know what's going on.

My last appointment I waited two hours. And Erma in the office has to be the most fake person I've ever met. I dread my appointments there.

I saw Dr Bates 5 years ago for thyroid cancer. He removed the entire thyroid, one lymph node and there has been no signs of cancer since. He was extremely nice and his staff certainly was not rude. The most important thing is that he is very knowledgeable and without a doubt, he saved my life. So thankful I was referred to him.
