OMG! DO NOT GO THERE! they are super rude, make you wait like five millions hours, and so mess up on billing. Their actually being watched by the medicaid fraud and abuse people bc they refuse to take peoples medical cards as a secondary, even when the main insurance doesn't pay anything! I went once and i swear i'll never say one good thing about him. Go to tony dotsons office. all the doctors are AMAZING threr!!! There's Frederick, Dotson, and Ford all in that office. and you can't go wrong with any of them. James & Dotsons offices are the only two that deliver in Ashland.

I had Dr James for my last two pregnancies and I absolutely loved him and his office staff. He always took the time to answer all my questions and he is extremely nice. If I ever get pregnant again I will definitely go back to him. And yeah sometimes you have to wait BUT he is in practice by hisself and sometimes he has to deliver babies even during office hours. To me I'd rather wait a little while and have excellent prenatal care.

You could call and talk to Dotson's office. Bc of James i didnt get proper care until i was seven MONTHS along. before they would accept my medical card i had to be taken off my dads insurance and his plan could only be edited in January. Once i heard who my cousin's gf was going to, i called up there and they got me in right away. Also, if you go to your county clerks office i think they can print off a copy of your birth certificate. its either there or the court house. i cant remember. but my friend had to do it for his passport

or you can NOT wait and still get excellent prenatal care! he's not nice, and he doesn't take time for crap. he's always rushing bc the retard has an overbooked office. and i personally know a friend who went there and was complaining of her stomach hurting, and James didnt do shit for her - so she had to xray tech in Dotson's office look and she had a ten CM mass growing! and if he does have to leave to deliver a baby, his staff doesn't have the courtsey to let the patients know. they just sit there for hours not knowing anything.

Dr. James office never gave me an issue with the medical card, or billing issues period. Dr. James was caring and great. The only reason for someone waiting til 7 months to get prenatal care would be not wanting/or willing to tell parents or seek proper care. It isnt Dr James' fault if "thunder-pig" had to be taken off her fathers insurance before she could get the medical card--that is up to medicaid and the insurance company--not Dr. James!!! I NEVER had an issue there and HIGHLY recommend him. He is excellent and his office staff is very nice!

You're retarded, maybe you should read better. I ALREADY HAD MEDICAL CARD! i got it as soon as i found out i was pregnant. james office wouldn't accept it bc i was on my dads insurance, even though it didnt pay for prenatal care for child dependents. and no - i was def not "afraid" to tell my parents. i was 19 damn years old when i got pregnant. not some little 15 year old slut.

Go to the health dept & take a pregnancy test, they can give you all the paperwork you need & something that is like a temp medical card. I loved dotson. Never had one issue. I went to James first at 6 weeks & he didn't want to see Me again till 20 weeks. I switched to dotson & at 12 weeks he saw I had a history of heart problems & sent me to a specialist. He is an amazing doctor!

Now why would you call her or anyone a retard because they don't agree with you? It really shows what an uneducated, closed-minded person you are. So sorry that YOU had a bad experience with Dr James but newsflash you get that anywhere you go! I know people who have had a bad experience with Dotson's office too. One person's experience does not make the mold for everyone. So try for once to respect other people's opinions before you start bashing.

I called her retarded, bc she can't read, but i suppose illiterate would have been a better choice. Also, i'm sure the amount of people dissatisfied with Dotson doesn't even amount to the stories I've heard about James' office.

Well in case you haven't heard, opinions are like assholes. Everybodies got one and they all stink! I'm not even gonna waste my time arguing with you over this. I don't plan on having another child but as I've said before, if I do Dr James will be my only choice.

Like I said dear YOU are NOT worth my time! But if you think for one second that I would not put your juvenile ass in it's place you are dead wrong. Sadly you are so young and yes immature that the only thing you know how to do is fight, argue, and belittle others. You know, children learn by example. I really hope you try to set a good example for your child's sake. Oh, and it's also a good thing that stupidity is not contagious or everyone around you would be doomed. To original poster, I certainly hope you do not take advice from this shallow little girl.
