LMAO........the BCJ stole his money. "Now thats some funny stuff, I dont care who you are"

Tell your friend to straighten up and stay out of jail so you will never need to post something that stupid again.

99.9% of the things posted here shows our education and parenting skills are non existent.

Its not that he goes there often.....Just a few problems he has to sort out himself. Since when do you have to pay to go to jail? Thats stupid. I'm just saying they shouldn't have kept his money. That was wrong. Good ppl go to jail too.

For 10ish hours once.....

I was involved in a fender bender. Neither car was damaged, however I decided (in case somone decided to fake some whiplash) we should atleast file a report. So, I called the APD.

They get there and inform me that I am under arrest for a suspended license. I had no idea! I was handcuffed like I was some dangerous criminal and taken to the BCDC.

For hours I asked WHY the license was suspended....and for HOURS I was denied the answer. Even at my little conference with the lady who interviews you to set bail I wasn't told. It took exactly 8 hrs to set my bail at 1000.00 CASH BOND! Mind you I don't have a record...not even a speeding ticket!

So, my husband goes to pay it. I get out and as I'm gathering my jewelry I ask. What do they tell me? For failure to appear for a traffic violation in Carter County in 1993! I was born in 1980 for Gods sakes!

Still had to pay bond. Still had to go to court. It finally got straightened out but tell me....does this kind of thing happen a lot? Why didn't they do the math? Why was I treated like I had just been caught robbinng a gas station?

Yeah, I'm bitter!

...an exception to the rule I am sure...the way to primarily (except for the exceptions) to not be treated unfairly by the Boyd County Detention center is to stay out of the Boyd County Detention Center...

Lack of information on warrant, should have had a date of birth, SS #, driver's license #, height, weight, various other descriptors to verify who the person the warrant was issued for.usually has some of the above mentioned items but not always. sounds like either the officer knowed you or didn't take the time to verify the info. I bet the judge offered to drop the charge if you would not seek legal advice on the matter(Suing the Officer and Department).

There are so many problems at that place that it would take days to list them. And it wouldn't do any good anyways.

I pulled time in BCDC in 2003 back then we at least had weights before they took them out and could go outside like once a fukin week, try 6 months in Lawrence County Ohio, aka Right Main in Ironton. Now that is a shithole. 24 hour lockdown, water barely worked. In 2006 it was, I am sure it is still as well. Getting treated unfair is not even relevant. By far Greenup County Detention was the fairest. Pulled time there in 08. In 2002 the old Cabell County jail level 3 right was a shit hole too. Dui's suck :/. Until someone has gone to jail for dumb mistakes and have seen the different style situations, then you should have a valid opinion.

Pretty much. I was refunded the bond, however later recieved a bill for 50.00 due to my stay there. After a month of phone calls it was removed.

I could have sued....but why? Hell anytime after that my name woula been mud there for sure! Can you imagine? Not worth it!

...if I were you...I'd stay out of jail...refrain from engaging in illegal behavior...you'll never have to give any jail another thought...it's worked for me for going on 44 years...
