Really, closing why? we don't have enough family practice md offices here. Everything has gone to outreach and family care centers with nurse pracs. And pa's no md.'s. Good dr or not I hate to see another small md office close.

Can't believe physicians can just "close up shop", leave their current patients hanging without any courtesy of a notification besides a lousy sign on the door you happen to stumble upon. Is this even legal, not to mention ethical to do without providing some sort of notice? Cannot even get ANYONE to answer the phone. And what does a patient do regarding the transfer of their medical records to a new physician? You've got to be joking...it surely hasn't gotten this bad.

Really? Is this true that he's quitting? I doubt it. And as far as him being a drug doc, I called there once to see if he was accepting new patients and the first thing the receptionist said was "yes, but he won't prescribe any controlled substances". Well it kinda offended me because I just needed to see if I had strep throat, lol.

He is an excellent doctor. Because a patient dies its the doctors fault? Really? He put in a lot of work to do what he loves. Helping people. It takes a certain person to be a doctor. He is closing because medicare Keep paying less and less. And it is very expensive to operating your own practice.

He is now running a diet clinic in south shore. what he did is a total outrage by not giving notice or sending his patients to Dr.that can take his place immediately if you were due this week for a prescription refill you were left out. He said he wasn't going to order no more pads to write his prescriptions on so if you didn't get there before someone else then you were without. Patients that do have things wrong with them and were prescribed narcotics now can not even get into a new Dr to be seen. You have to go there before the end of this month to get your medical records or you will not get them. don't call go before 11am. that's what I had to do. I really think what he is doing is totally unethical and his former patients are the ones left to suffer.

He never worked for the hospital. He did rounds there but stopped to spend more time with his kids. Running a family medical practice is becoming more difficult in this town and a lot of that led him to make some choices that work best for him and his family.

He is a good Doctor, I hate to see him go.
I would be willing to travel to see him.

I was not allowed to see him on two occasions because I was told that he had to be your primary care physician, so I had to wait to go back to my hometown Doctor on the weekend.

He's script happy. I know someone who goes to him and hasn't been even a year yet I believe, he wrote them Xanax their first visit! I guess she won't be paying her bills with her drug money no more.
