wellllllllll, considering how overbearing security used to be( don't know about now) I wouldn't care if the whole mall closed. That kind of thing comes back to haunt businesses later. I know of several people they offended who never went back..........good riddance!

Auto shop screwed me over years ago. Sent documents to local store and Chicago and nothing was done. I diverted lots of business from that store after that.

As little as some people seem to care, Sears closing will cause nearly a 100 people to their jobs. Outside of the hateful comments, has anyone stopped to think how this will impact these people and also affect our community? It will decrease business in a mall that is barely sustaining itself. What happens if this causes other stores in the Kyova Mall to close? Less business in Boyd County, less jobs available and more unemployed. Its a very sad situation. Maybe its worth taking a moment to think about the people who work there in order to support their families.:(

I think Sears made the first mistake when they moved from Ashland to the, at that time, new mall. The traffic never seemed to match the new overhead and costs. They lasted longer than I thought they would.
