A thought....did it ever occur to any of you that not everyone believes the same thing you do. Nor should they be forced to. What if lived in an area where everyone was not christians. Say a large city where there are more religions. Would you think it were fair if others tried to push their religion into schools and onto your child. No way, you'd be after their heads. The issue here is that school is no place for religion of any kind. if you want your child to hear about religion on schools, then send them to a chrisitan school. their are grants and scholarships available. but don't tell me i have to force my child to undertake the teachings of a religion that i do not agree with. i wouldn't do it to your children and I believe it is your Bible that says you should treat others how you would like to be treated.

Religion can be forced upon people. It was done in the crusades and inquisitions by Christians for a thousand years. Study some history.
If not for those who forced religion, Christianity would likely never had been told to you.
Imagine you lived in the days of the inquisition. Imagine you knew if your child ever told anyone he did not believe, he would be tortured. Now what would you do? Even if you did not believe, you would likely tell your child the god is true. Why? Because you would not want him to slip up and tell someone he is not a believer.
Next thing you know, everyone grows up believing and then passing it on to their kids.
Brainwashing children is easy. Notice how it is done by Muslims and Hindu's?
If your parents told you god is not real, you would likely not be a believer today. But I can bet your parents are also Christian and told you to believe in god and Jesus or you will burn in hell for eternity.
You see, that is threatening with extreme violence. Force.

I am a perfect example, I have recieved over one hundred death threats from members of the christian cult ranging from shooting me to burning my home down with me in it. The religion of love? Nope, the christian cult is all about hate!

So you know for a fact that each of these threats came from a "Christian"? They indicated they were Christian prior to making the threat? They said "I am a Christian and I am going to shoot you"?

I do not agree with any death threat, but they were probably idle threats from people who disliked your negative, nasty, hate inspired attitude.

They where from people on here, and from people making comments in person. And yes, they state they are christians when I ask them. As far as my being negative it is only towards people who lie, try to force their beliefs on to others (using force and threats) and hate filled people, also people who say how they are good and every one else is bad but commit acts that show they are bad.
Oh, there is a church in a strip mall here where the man told my wife he was going to pour gas on her and set her on fire (he left quickly when I stood up) he went straight in to the church so fuck you christian!
