I am reposting this under a new topic. A lot of people won't read the long posts.

i cant wait to tell everyone i told you so when they get screwed over, almost every idiot in hawaii is getting scammed to this. for one we live on an island if everyone buys this crap lets see if everyone would be willing to sell overseas or the states. and let's see when the first medical complication shows up.
It already has! I have a friend who has been on Visalus for 2 years. After being healthy all of her life and just wanting it for the health benefits, she went to her doctor and was told she was in Stage 3 kidney disease. Many of the ingredients in the powder are not safe for your kidneys or your liver. Shes now had 3 blood panels a CT scan and an ultrasound. The doctor dared her to ever touch it again! People!!!! Make sure you know what is in it and how it can affect your health, your organs and how something like it can totally debilitate you. My friend would never have taken the shake if she knew the consequences. She's never smoked and doesn't drink alcohol. She doesn't know what the future holds except the possibility of dialysis 3 times a week or a kidney transplant. I wouldn't want anyone to go through what my friend has gone through and she still doesn't know exactly what is ahead. I'm not posting from Canada or Australia or some place far away from Ashland. I'm in Flatwoods, KY. She's had testing in KY and WV at different hospitals with 2 nephrologists. Many diseases like CKD, diabetes, high blood pressure all relate to your kidneys and liver. Please ask your doctor before taking this supplement. It might help you short term but long term is a different story!
Thanks

I don't doubt that all, every time a new fad comes out people go overboard. I don't believe anything like that is intended for long term use , as with all products- if it sounds too good......

Thanks Amanda! I was glad to get that info. I've been going through some testing as well and they believe it is the Visalus causing kidney damage. I'm still in the beginning of finding out but I don't want to wait like your friend. Like you said, the short term thing isn't worth the long term damage or an organ transplant! Bless your friend and tell her to hang in there.

That's what a diet of high protein can do to you, unfortunately.

Thanks for your post I'm in nb Canada and must started the shakes. I just got off the phone with my mother's dialysis nurse, she currently has 3 patients one 14 the others 18 who started these shakes and it killed their kidneys. I am predisposed for kidney problems, I'm now going to end the shakes and go see my doctor. Should mention I'm supposed to be a donor for my mother and not because of these shakes i may not be able to.

I know a lot of people that have done it and several of them still are. None of them have experienced any kind of health problems and are in the best shape of there lives. I don't agree with this weight loss program at all git off your lazy asses and exercise git off the couch from in front of the tv git out of the chair in front of the computer and EXERCISE... Take a walk a jog go to the gym this nation is so lazy you spend hundreds of dollars a year to drink something to maintain your weight when exercising is free.

Visalus is made with soy protein. Soy protein in large qualities is very unhealthy. Kidney problems, breast cancer, and various other diseases and problems are commonly linked to high doses of soy protein.

Visalus uses NON GMO SOY. ITs not bad for you, i been on it for months, no health issues, if anything my health got better. Different people react differently, hence why you should talk with your doctor before starting ANYTHING

Serious talk from the bottom of my heart. Ive been on Visalus for 4 months. Have lost about 25 lbs. Took a mandatory health assessment from my job and got the results tonight. Doc ask me if I took protein shakes cause something was in my blood that causes kidney failure and he told me to drink a gallon of water a day. He told me to stop the shakes for a month and get tested again in a month

I have several friends who think these shakes are the best things ever, I disagree. Research the ingredients and read information on the internet. Visalus along with any other protein shakes are linked to kidney issues. Praying for all of you that are having issues.

You wanna bet!? My mother has been on this crap for awhile now her dipstick friends at work conned her into trying it. It may not be destroying her kidneys (yet) but it is messing with her liver! My mom now has to have extra tests done, because the doctors found something wrong with her liver. My mom does not drink nor smoke so those factors are out. This Visalus stuff is junk!
