You can tour Waverly Hills Sanitorium, the TB hospital in Louisville. I went this summer and it was pretty gnarly. We paid $20 for a two hour tour but their web site has all the prices and info about appointments if you wanna spend more and stay longer.

I went to the haunted tunnel in ironton about three years ago and never went back. it wasn't that great. but it might be this year. I would love no go on a tour of waverly hills but I'm pretty sure they have a waiting list. they're haunted house up there opens sometime soon though. I would much rather make a trip there for the tour than just the haunted house though.

They didn't have a waiting list in August and there were 8 of us. It just sucked that the first floor was closed so they could construct the haunted house. It would be cool to go back to see, though. We had a lot of fun!! There's also Mansfield Reformatory in Ohio that you can tour. It's where they shot Shawshank Redemption. And there's the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum in West Virginia.

Sure can. They are a little further away but they are a lot cheaper. Just google them, and their web sites will come up. I haven't been to either of them, but they look hella fun. There's also a haunted house up in Ohio called Haunted Hoochie's I'd like to go to. Very bad ass, very gory. And I forget the name of the one in Indiana where you have to pay $50 to go thru, but if you make it to the end you get your money back. There's always specials on The Travel Channel about them this time of year.

the haunted hootchie is the best i have been to so far. save your money on the mansfield reformatory, me and my son went there last year and it sucked. were thinking about going to the dent school house in cincinnati this year.

I've never heard of dent, but thanks for the warning on the other place. I figured Hoochie's would be great. We watched videos online last year, and anyplace that makes a demon birth and a shotgun to the face look real would be well worth the trip. Happy Halloween everyone!!

The "Meatgoat House" at the end of Reffitt Dr. in Westwood. Be careful because Reffitt may be a private road and the people are suppose to be crazy.

I went to reffitt dr. and those crazy people looked at me like I was crazy when I asked about a haunted "Meatgoat House".

The "meatgoat house" is a photo attachment on Google Earth. It's an old falling down wood shack toward the back of a property. Apparently its an old slaughter house that something bad happened in a long time ago. Word of warning, I believe its on private property, and the people who own the property are suppose to be less than nice.
