In Ashland I think people who is caught with no seatbelt should spend no less than 30 days in jail it sickens me to see people with no seatbelt on, they are breaking the law. My team (Safety Society) Will start alerting the A.P.D. when ever we see people not wearing seat belts. This is a warning for people to take an extra second to not break the law and possibly save a life..

It is a persons personnel preference to choose to or not to wear a seat belt. Seat belt laws were made to take more of our hard earned money same as cell phone laws. How many cops do you see a day driving down the road chatting it up on the phone??? Wearing a seat belt protects your life not the life's of other drivers. Il pay the 25 dollar fine and choose to not wear mine. You and all your apd informing friends can shove those seat belts up your a$$e$. I hate stupid people and I hate a rat even more.........

It's a choice. I choose not to wear mine because I believe they do more harm than good. Therefore, I choose to pay the ticket (when and if) I get one, because it's my choice not to wear it.

Do you honestly believe the law was put in place for public safety? It was put in place to increase revenue, law enforcement officers are slinging drugs on the side, and you think local, state, and federal government give a shit about you or your family? The only one looking out for your well fair is YOU. I ride a motorcycle and wear a open faced german helmet, because I don't like the feeling of being restrained. If it makes you sleep better at night, with the false security that our nanny state alludes to, but conceals its true intent, which is MONEY... I say that is your right and God Bless you, because your going to need supernatural intervention, when the shit hits the fan, with that mindset.

How are you gonna alert the police? From your cell phone? Perhaps I should use the criminal revenue collectors to steal your cell phone and money as a consequence for violating my personal standards.

I don't think it's reall any of your concern if I wear a seat belt or not. It wound be nice if people would worry about their own doing and not everyone else's.

It's not a choice, it's the law, and it's there to protect your family and friends from the sorrow and sadness of going to your funeral!
By your logic, all drugs should be legal!

obviously you have never bin in an accident where you were f@@ked up by a seat belt. It's as broad as it is long either way you can receive injuries with or without the seat belt. The point at hand is that these law making a$$ holes are making all these laws to receive more revenue. Do you think they abide by them??? Um that's a deff no. Soon you will be fined for spitting on a side walk, cussing in a public place, possibly for wearing your hat backwards... Point is where does it stop do we not have a right to our own choices our own decisions??? We don't need the government or law enforcement to tell us how to live our life's can I git an amen??? lol

It is a choice, it is an unconstitutional law. We SHOULD have the freedom to CHOOSE whether or not we wear a seatbelt, a helmet, or use drugs. No one owns your body but yourself. Not wearing a seatbelt does not infringe upon anyone else's freedoms. You need to educate yourself on freedom/liberty, and the constitution.

Choices or decisions that affect the happiness of relations like family and friends, like seatbelt use, drug use, etc are not yours to make!
That is why your family can have you locked up in mental health until you change your mind if you become Atheist, Gay, Lesbian, or any other life change which interferes with their happiness! Trust me, I know!
