Any man that would take his personal time away from his friends and family to help a disabled child or a family that he don't even know that is in need of something does not need to be bashed on topix!!!!!!

just google "truth about freemasonry" and do a little research, then make your own determination.

I was raised by a 32nd degree mason/shriner then later I was married to a mason. Very evil things happened in our homes and lives.

Watch the documentary "Riddles in Stone." It's one of the best out there. Explains much about masonry's origins.

I work with a mason and not to sound disrespectful, he's one of the laziest people I know. Never takes responsanbility for his actions, always blames his mistakes on someone else. Always takes the easy way out, avoids work no matter how hard it makes it for his co- workers.
Not a good example of a mason.

Well I'm married to a Mason who is also a Shriner.... Very Proudly so!!!! He is not only a very hard worker, excellent provider, wonderful father.. He is a good, giving, kind hearted gentleman of which they are few and far between! These men dedicate their personal time to help families who have very sick children when they can not afford appropriate medical care needed!! When is the last time you took your personal time off and transported him/her to facility 2 hrs away or helped an ill child in any way? These are good men! So why would anyone want to bash them? And I can also assure you that evil things do not happen in my home.. That's that persons own issues.. I hate it but let's not try and make it sound like a cult of any sort please! Just remember someday you may have a sick child in your family who needs a Shriner:-)

Frats aren't secret societies. I know many many masons and they are not good people. They are some of the worst people I know that lie, cheat, drink, smoke, and don't even believe in God. They freely admit they are in it so that if they lose their job they can get another one easily. I will give you that those that advance on and get in the Shriners are good people, but just run of the mill masons don't do anything. It is just like you said a frat party.

Enough said from my part.. They don't have to defend or justify themselves to anyone who questions them. I know what my family and I believe in and the things we do to help others. Last thing is that you may need to educate yourself just a lil better before you comment on things you know nothing about! I hate that you've had bad experiences with some.:( Truely a shame because the Shriners do wonderful things to help sick children and their families!

is this part of the shriners?
a quote from the story
"Under a felony plea deal he took in August, Stebick also agreed to forfeit to the federal government his 2000 Challenger motor home, which he used to transport the prostitute and some club members to a Jesters conference in Ashland, Ky., in October 2005."
check it out here:

And also this story "Findings 2008: Shriners' Corruption, Jesters' Prostitution"
A qoute from the story"• These depositions described how the girls were, at the time of the alleged minor prostitution, aged 13, 14, 16. One of the 16 year olds stated that her 14 year old sister was also recruited."

oh yea and another quote about where the money goes
1 - In 1987, the Washington Monthly published "Faith, hope and chicanery; want to do some good? Ask your favorite charity where it spends its money" and wrote:

"The Shrine fraternity, which operates the nation’s largest charity, has been misleading the public for years…In 1984, the circuses reaped an estimated profit of $17.5 million. The charity’s own records show the hospitals received only 1 per cent of that, a total of $182,000."

The Masons are right. They do not have to justify and defend their activity to anyone else. My problem is that you cannot say to educate ourselves before forming an opinion. It's a secret society! The only education we'd be able to do is reading all the literature that is basically bashing Masonry.

I have heard lots of rumors about Masons but I don't know what's true and not. Is there a book I can pick up at the library written by the order to educate me?

The masonic god is Jahbulon.(see seventh degree)

Jahbulon as identified by the Masonic Ritual is a combination of 3 dieties! It is a mix of "Jehovah" with 2 Pagan dieties.
