Provisional vote confirms Hollins as winner in Nashville council recall election

It took an extra day, but once all the votes were counted in the Metro Council District 5 recall election, Jamie Hollin emerged as the winner by two votes.

I think it is a shame that she was voted to be replaced. It is so many negative things going on in Nashville TN for the african american until you just feel like relocating to another state and city. There are no lucrative jobs or opportunities her in Nashville for african americans and when you have a representative that is black and if they don't represent the white americans to their satisfaction they want to replace you real quick. I see why a vast majority of african americans are moving to other states. I grew up in Nashville and I am mighty suprise as to the way things have turned out in this day and time in Nashville. I FEEL IT SHOULD BE BETTER HERE!!!!!
