Fighting At Orientation Prompts Changes To School Security

Classes start next week for Nashville public schools, but security issues have already popped up at one Metro school.

I was wondering what honor system does metro think they can give a bunch of unruly teens one bad apple will spoil the bunch in this case as you can see it should have never been broadcasted that the security was not going to be in full effect that gave them the ok to act a fool

Until the kids can quit bringing their neighborhood baggage (fueled by their parents)to school this will continue to happen. They have a warped sense of honor that keeps the drama going long after the offense has been forgotten. Immaturity on the part of both the parents and the children make getting along almost impossible. Teachers have to be psychologist and warden these days to figure out the daily issues and keep them from exploding. Sometimes all it takes is a look, and boom, there they go. Parents, teach you kids to forgive, forget, and get on with their lives. Start by being their example.

I can't wait till they start giving these idiots vouchers to private schools. Lets just ruin all of the schools. We need to grow a pair and stand up to these thugs and let them know they aren't running things but then the idiot thugs parents will start doing what they do best. i go to mcgavock high school.. thankfuly i was N0T at the orgination that cased all of this conmotion. McGavock is a a wild school to attend. there is always drama like this interrupting our learning process. i think it reflects on the parents of the students they should have been raised beter its the school job to educate us not teach us behavior maners.

McGavock high school has alot of drama that causes disruption to learn.Thanks to the new principal and Standard School Attire everything is going okay somewhat.

To reana---Au contraire on SSA. The recent problems showsthat SSA (fascisat/socialist clothing) solves NOTHING. Bad kids need to be sebt to refoirm school; Good kids (the majorityyu) need to be left alone and not treated as if they needed nannys to dress them.
