Make fun, but I doubt if many people here can swallow 15,000 a year for mandatory government insurance. I'm thinking not all those who voted for obama were expecting this.

As usual you leave out the details! The amount is 2.5 percent of taxable income, so, the $15,000 price would be for someone who ends up with an aftertax income of $600,000! Hmmmm, think they could afford $15K for health insurance. If you make $50K after tax, 2.5 percent would be $1,250.00 or about $100 per month, sure beats the $450 Blue Cross wanted for my daughter's healthcare 8 years ago! Floridiots are sooooooooo stupid. Why are you spreading Drudge propaganda, did Limbaugh or Beck tell you to do it?

Why? Some people can't be bothered with facts. They prefer to let emotional paroxysms overrule their limited intellect.

How much does it currently cost to incacerate an individual ?

Wasn't the concept of debtor's prison deemed unlawful back in the dark ages ?

Yep, now instead of paying for people's occasional hospital visits, we will be paying for their shelter and meals while they be chillin' in the Grey Bar Mo-tel!!

You gotta love how they are so concerned with poor folk.

The Brits had debtors' prisons in the 19th century. Dickens described them in his novels,_The Pickwick Papers_ and _Bleak House,_ and brought the whole British Empire to shame. Matter of fact the prisons were abandoned in large part because of Charles Dickens.

Is that you trolling jessica?

Can't say that I understand the actual figures of who will pay what. I'm more concerned that we will be REQUIRED to buy this and if not face JAIL. That is my big issue. That you have no problem with our government requiring us to buy something from them or go to jail is remarkable. I bet if homosexuals were required to participate in a behavior modification program or go to jail you might feel a little different about giving our government such control over our freedoms.

Here's some different figures as to who will pay what...
http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1000142405274...
<snip>On Nov. 2, the Congressional Budget Office estimated what the plans will likely cost. An individual earning $44,000 before taxes who purchases his own insurance will have to pay a $5,300 premium and an estimated $2,000 in out-of-pocket expenses, for a total of $7,300 a year, which is 17% of his pre-tax income. A family earning $102,100 a year before taxes will have to pay a $15,000 premium plus an estimated $5,300 out-of-pocket, for a $20,300 total, or 20% of its pre-tax income. Individuals and families earning less than these amounts will be eligible for subsidies paid directly to their insurer.

theres more at the link....lots more that people should be educated about.

The more you post the crazier you get. You remind me of that flake in Columbia -rttl- who got all wet and runny over some highschool student in Jackson, MI who was "in danger" of being criticized for writing an article badmouthing Michele Obama. LOL!

Y'all insane.

They've laid it out where as you just scoff at it. Think I'll go with the ones who cite where their info comes from. Unless you can post information to back up your claims of this being disinfo...?

They can’t afford it and that’s where the ruse comes into effect. They will be “subsidized” by the taxpayer dollars. We will pay for both their care and their insurance.

The 2,000 page Pelosi turd will be the end of the Democrats for another 20 years.

Nancy's "brilliant" plan is most likely not constitutional anyway. Nancy, one again, shows her arrogance, disdain for the people, and a lack of any idea of how most Americans lives their lives. This woman is an embarassment.
