What was so bad about the Herman Cain topic that it was removed? I can not believe you let that poster post some real bad stuff and censor the not so bad stuff. I think you need to go back to censor school!

This is a forum wholly owned and operated by Gannett which has total control over the content when/or if, they decided to exercise it, ergo, not being an arm of any government agency removal of material doesn't rise to the level of censorship. If I recall rightly the title of the thread was at best overtly racist. It's about advertising $$$, NOT censorship.

I understand why it was removed. I am questioning why other topics and posts by the same poster are allowed to remain?
Here one and it would not be hard to find more.

I totally agree but my explanation is that you're not going to see those posts unless you open a thread thus they will not draw attention unless reported.

Sorry, didn't mean to be rude. Your remarks were not at all laughable.

The post you linked to is not quite so obvious. "Bedtime for Bongo" is out of reach for most readers.. The movie was in theaters in 1951 which was 10 years before Obama was born.

Gannett, McClatchy, and The Tribune Company own 75% of Toxic Topix.

And you oversimplify on censorship because Section 230 of the CDA was given to them, a gift of Congress sponsored by Congressmen Ron Wyden and Chris Cox. The other owners of Topix and other forums permitted to operate laissez faire by Congress legislating creatively to encourage the marketplace of ideas, NOT to provide a toxic cauldron and sewer for feuding, gossip, libel, defamation, gossip, racism, hate speech, gross obscenity, and threats of violence, all of which are frowned upon by the First Amendment.

And in that regard I wonder why the thread "Eric Holder Coonspiracy," which is blatantly, reprehensibly racist, was allowed by Topix and its toadies (such as you) to survive.

Are you two-faced or what? You want me to answer that question for you?

Not exactly so, Thomas. The movie was _Bedtime for Bonzo,_ and it starred a chimpanzee and Ronald Reagan.

Excuse me please. The movie is old. How many people do you know that have bothered to watch it or even know of it. And why exactly, do you feel it necessary to call me Thomas. That's not my name. By the way as long as we're trading names, what's yours? Oh, like you're going to share that with us, huh? Yuk yuk

Just venturing an opinion. What's that got do do with being two faced. Are you so needing conflict you come around here poking at me? I know your style, a liberal who can't quite understand my constant. Sorry, the only people who are consistent are dead people waiting to be buried. Does that describe you?

Your Reagan is kind of like god, a figment of your imagination. Ronald Reagan was nothing at all like your right wing nuts make him out to be. The man you worship as the ultimate conservative was not the ultimate anything. He actually accomplished things through compromise. Where's your compromise? Non existent.! I'll wager he was no screaming bigoted racist like you either.

Will The Real Ronald Reagan Please Stand Up?

Even a liberal could say this man was lovable compared with your hateful ilk. Though I have my issues with the man's policies he, at least, was decent, not like you and your tea sack MFs
