First, someone needs to research the definition of "pyramid Scheme". Upon doing so they will find that ACN does not fit in the least. Secondly, it is unfortunate that there are people, in every walk of life and business type, who will misrepresent their product, service or company. If it's any consolation you should know that if you were not successful, or quit ACN, the person who recruited you made no money, nor did anyone else up the line. ACN is a company that gives in abundance to those willing to work for themselves and gives in abundance to charitable organizations. Personally, I am saving money every month on the ACN services and we don't ask anyone to be a customer unless it does save them money. Lastly, we do not ever pressure someone to become a business partner. We simply share the information on this business opportunity and let them decide if it is for them or not. If you pressure someone to sign up you will have to pressure them every day to take the steps to success and we don't want to waste time babysitting unmotivated people.
I signed up for acn and what you are saying is not true at all. It is a total scam! It is a pyramid scheme. Only the people high up make money. I was pressured over and over again from multiple people to join. I attended three meetings and finally joined. The services are nearly impossible to sell because everyone is in a contract, either with their cell phone provider, or cable and internet provider. These services cost more with acn. Everyone you sign up you have to ask them to do you a huge favor and become a customer. You will be harrassing all of your friends and family to sign up for services. You have to sell 25 to 50 services before you make any money. Also you have to bring people and sign them up under you. You can only make money once you have signed hundreds of people up under you at $500 each, who also have to sell services themselves before you make any money. You pay for a back office at $40- a month. You pay to attend every meeting. and their big meetings cost hundreds of dollars and huge travel expenses. Everyone lies to bring people to the meetings. No one is allowed to tell you what the meeting is actually about. This company is shady in every way, on every level. It is a complete scam. It is a pyramid scheme in every way. This that wrote this is obviously high up in the pyramid, and has taken advantage of a lot of people to get ahead. How many of your friends and family did you rip off. The only people that make money at this are people who are rich to start. Stay far away from this scam!

all of the above sounds familiar...however, I will say this...the above poster made a very true point..EVERYONE has a cell phone...EVERY business is successful or not based on how hard the entrep. works to make it successful. From what I understand, it is up to you how much you make, as determined by the number of people you get to sign up and save money. IF it turns out that people save money on their monthly bills, what is the problem??? Just sayin'

last but not least, I did go to a meeting at the home of a friend and the person who provided the information let me know from the start that he was interested in helping people (potential ACN business owners) and helping people (potential ACN customers) save money on their bills while simultaneously making money through this system.

finally, after reading more comments, I will say that my friend was very upfront from the start about the what the meeting was all about, etc. I still believe that no company is 100% perfect, just look at the CEO's, etc. over the past few years in ALL companies! That being said, every company really does have some folks that are NOT 100% "invested in the success of the company", every company, and it sounds like ACN has some folks who are not looking at the greater good for ACN.

What a bunch of nonsense ! There is DEFINATELY no pressure on you to sign up, in fact they specifically state they are not in the business of convincing people because if you convince someone to get in you have to convince them to stay in and there is no point in that. I looked at the business 3 years ago and didnt get in, but in May this year took another look and decided to go for it. There is alot of money to be made if you WORK at it. It's not a get rich quick scam, it's direct sales or multi level marketing and I personally would rather have control of my future rather than working a job, having the time and freedom to do it at my own pace. I love the positive ness of the people involved, unlike the negativity and back stabbing in Corporate America. Obviously it's not for everyone and that's ok but I fail to see why people have to always bad mouth a company when they don't hve a good work ethic and put in the time to make it a success. No it's not easy but nothing in life worthwhile is, that's why about 3 % of the population have the majority of the wealth! Before starting any business you should do proper research, Direct sellers association, BBB, etc, not google where anyone can write anything, that's like believing everything you read in the tabloids! Then make an informed decision on your findings. I really think its pathetic when people sit in judgement without doing proper research, that's just plain stupid! I also find it amazing that people complain about spending $499 to start a business but will go out and spend the same amount of money on unnecessary junk that gets them no further ahead in life! Even if I never make millions but just an extra few $$$ a month residually, the personal growth and friends I have made will be worth the price of $499

People are so quick to throw out the word PYRAMID SCAM, an illegal pyramid by definition is when you recruit a Person and get paid for recruiting that person. ACN is a customer acquisition company, no one gets paid unless they ACQUIRE customers! We get paid a % of their bill, month after month for as long as they have the service or contract with the service provider. So basically instead of Dish, direct TV, A T & T, Sprint, ADT, etc keeping all the profit they make we get a cut from referring customers to them through our websites, that way they save money on marketing, and in many cases we save the customer money, or they pay the same but get their services through us to help us out. Don't you ever help friends out or ask one for a favor? I find it interesting that people who are taking advantage of the ACN system can speak eloquently about it (due to personal growth which is promoted) rather than some of the people who write rubbish because they haven't researched properly or met the co founders of the company to question their beliefs, integrity and vision for ACN , which by the way is the number 1 direct sales company in the world. Oh yes by the way the governments of 23 countries on 4 continents AND the Attorney Generals of several states are in on this scam! I personally would rather only have the people intelligent enough to understand the power of residual income be partnered with me!

I have been apart of ACN for approximately 4 months and i no it is NOT A SCAM,those people who say it is are a bunch of losers and should not of even been apart of the ACN family. The business only works if you get out there and treat it like a business and not like a job.If you join this business just to make money you will FAIL you need something better than that like a strong dream that will drive you, once you start making the money, the money is satisfying,SO STOP WINGEING AND TREAT IT LIKE A $1,000,000 BUSINESS

I'm sorry, but I can't help to not say this. Some babies were dropped on their heads, but you were clearly thrown against the wall. You are forced to use the services yourself if you are a rep. That is a scam. How would you feel if your cable company charged you 500 to use them. This is like a cult . 99% of acn customers are the reps . Look it up .

All of these comments are hilarious. Good job to the people who have realized what they have there hands on with ACN. I can tell you with my story I don't care how persuasive anyone is I make my own choices. I am a no bs person and I am certainly not a person who could be brainwashed! I know that this company stands for loyalty and integrity and for those people who could not see this I am truly sorry for you. You truly have missed out. Number one if you don't work it wont work! It is a business hello! I am just starting out and have a great team and awesome support! I just saved a customer $600 on there dish bill for the year! They were very happy!! Our services can save people money and like it was said not everyone! I certainly wouldn't sign a customer up if I cost them more money that's ridiculous! It is your business to run the way you want and I do! My reps are very happy and again I didn't pressure them they made their own choice! So thank you ACN for coming in to my life and creating more choices for my family!!!

Sorry ACN is a scam and the only way you saved someone $600 dollars using ACN is by cutting all their services. Reps have no idea what they are talking about. I had one tell me that digital phone service is safer than a pots line because an intruder could not cut it! WTF, they also told me wouldn't my family be willing to pay more for their services to help my business? Again WTF. I could not find 1 service that they offered that would save me money. I have yet to see ANyone post a check they received from ACN and I can guarantee that even if they did get one it didn't cover the expense of the $500 they had to pay, the 500 they paid to sign up their children, the 500 they used to sign up their parents, etc etc. I know you all know what I am saying. What real company doesn't train their employees on the products they sell? What company gives you a script that asks you to say nothing about the company and just ask for a favor?
