"Over 2,200 veterans died in 2008 due to lack of health insurance."

But who is the GOP fighting for?'Cause I know who our fellow soldiers are fighting for.

Most Americans want healthcare reform. Most Americans don't want that 2000+ page defecation Pelosi and her liberal loons shat out last week.

You can not even honor our vets without crying about something. Leave it to you. As a matter of fact I do not see even a thank you from you. Just another reason for you to get on your soap box. Your such a tool.

Only a liberal would turn Veteran's Day into a political football. Congratulations THB. You've reached a new low.

Since when is health insurance a disease? There may have been 2200 veterans who died that did not have insurance but that is not the reason for their illness. Today is a day to remember our Veterans and thank them for their sacrifices instead of using them as a ploy to promote your beliefs of the Democratic party and their policies. Thank you Veterans and I hope you have a good day.

Never has anyone stooped to such a low level in the past two weeks, first the President during a somber time and now you on Veterans day. I will continue this on another thread but not here.

Thank you Vets for your service past and present to make this a free and great country.

Wrong there ghost dog. My husband is a Vietnam Vet..... because he was not injured during his deployment, he DOES NOT have free healthcare for life! My best friend, also a Vietnam Vet, just spent 5 years fighting them for coverage..... with all kinds of medals received for his injuries during his service.

Thank you dadolfart! Happy Veterans Day to you, also. After I go to my best friend's Mother's funeral, I will do what I do every Veterans Day, go to another dear friend's gravesite, a Vietnam Vet who was buried on Memorial Day ten years ago, and drink a cold Budweiser with him!

Thank You to all Veterans! Past and Present!

So true. I have a service connected and it took years to get them to cover. I spent 15 months on Interferon Chemo and the VA is still trying to get me to pay for services rendered BEFORE they gave me my D.R. The ridiculous part is that that S.S. is cutting my check by 15% to recover payment. And The VA will not listen to reason.
And before you repugs start tossing blame this all took place while BUSH was in office

Daily Horoscope for December 6

Sagittarius

You still prefer to be in a world of your own, in which nothing nasty is happening, but at least you're feeling a little more realistic than you were yesterday. It's a perfect day for visiting somewhere beautiful, peaceful or relaxing, or for going to the cinema or an art gallery. But it will be difficult to get up the energy for any prolonged Christmas shopping.
