Dream on, because I'm afraid we're stuck with her forever.
I don't know what it is but she has something on someone at WLOS. As sad as her reporting is it's either that or it's race related. Before anyone starts yelling I am not now nor have I ever been a racist!

LOOK OUT!!! I see more and more re-runs of the news. Why do they have an hour and half of news weekdays? They are repeating the news after five minutes or less. WLOS can fade to black as far as I am concerned.

Darcel - Tired of being talked to like im an idiot everytime she delivers the News
Julie Wunder - Natural Moron, She really has no business on TV
Mike Cuevas - Where do I start with this Smug, hack for a weatherman.
If we could get rid of those 4 the news would improve greatly.

Well heck, either one of us would be better than Darcel. But then I guess our eyes wouldn't bug out enough to satisfy management.

I can see all the news for Asheville in the first 10 minutes, then choose to watch it over and over again for the next three days! OR- I can switch to Channel 4 after that 10 minutes and see more news about Ashevile, the "UPSTATE" and national affairs than WLOS covers in a week. By the way- when did they create a new state called the "UPSTATE"? That's all you hear! BTW- "Dar-Ah-Cell" get a new wig, that one is too old and tired!

The redhead in the morning has NEVER read a script w/o stumbling over the words. She is awful.
Darcel Grimes really needs to move on, but who would hire her?
I do like Jay Siltzer, Julie Wunder, and the male anchor.

Mimi Page was one professional, entertaining and genuine lady who was a real professional! TAMMY WATFORD ranks right up there with her. I have had the privilege of seeing her numerous times among the public and especially in the schools. She is always friendly, courteous, enthusiastic and spontaneous! She's a professional- Yeah Tammy, let's keep her!

Ditto! She's about the only one worth a hoot.

Victoria Dunkle, poor thing, can't seem to read the teleprompter to save her life. John Le's little "segments" are nothing more than a laugh- and not in a good way. Karen Wynne and her green 1986 "trench coat" could probably go, too.

I agree that WLOS leaves a lot to be desired, but remember this it isn't WABC, KABC or WLS. Asheville is a city with a 5-digit population. Given the current economy I wouldn't expect any more major improvements (beyond the switch to digital and the recently new studio).

I must say that Julie has come a long way since her first days at WLOS. Her delivery has improved and she sounds like and adult instead of a teenager giving the weather report.
