From the AC-T Guest Commentary: "Cummings and Femcare, Western North Carolina’s sole public abortion provider, perform abortions only up to 12 weeks of gestation, but Cummings said the D&X option needs to be available for those in need.“There are times when there are 13-weekers and 14-weekers and the head is not accounted for. If you do an ultrasound and see that it’s still in there, then you have to go back as a separate procedure,” Cummings said.“People are worried that that is what they are going to call a ‘partial-birth,’ that part of the fetus was removed without the other part. This is what everyone is up in arms about.”

How macabre!

13 weekers and 14 weekers!? Everyone is up in arms because some will think it a partial birth abortion because part of the fetus [baby] was removed without the other part [the baby's head]?!?

We are better at killing, worrying about the technicalities of killing, disposing of the bodies, and justifying ourselves than the Nazis were.

Up in arms? What about the baby's arms?

"People think we are out there recruiting women to come here,” Cummings said.“If people aren’t having unwanted pregnancies, that’s terrific. We are here to fill a need, and if the need is not there, that’s fine.”

Or,

"People think we are out there recruiting Jews to come here [to Treblinka],” Lalka said.“If there are no more Jews, that’s terrific. We are here to fill a need, and if the need is not there, that’s fine.”

Treblinka closed and was dismantled by the Nazis soon after the Warsaw ghetto was liquidated. Some 700,000-900,000 Jews murdered at that death camp.

If you don't like abortion, then by all means don't have one. To say it should be abolished because you or anyone else wouldn't make that choice is ridiculous.

The choice should be available to women in this country. Birth control is great, but not 100% and if for whatever reason a woman doesn't wish to carry the fetus to term, that is her choice.

Or,

If you don't like the Holocaust, then by all means don't kill Jews. To say genocide should be abolished because you or anyone else wouldn't make that choice is ridiculous.

And this is the mentality of the new world generation. If a person wants to murder someone, they should make that "choice". To hell with morals, right?

Well said. And what a private person chooses to do, as long as it is legal, is none of the publics business.

Abortion should not be available. For murder to be legal is a travesty! No woman has the right to kill.

I don't feel I have the right to tell someone else what to do with their body. With that said, when it is estimated that almost half the population of US women will have an abortion there has to be moral consequences for the rest of us.

But, instead of protesting clinics and passing laws I think we should be trying to understand why so many women feel this is the best option and doing all we can to change that.

Here we go again...

The Pro-choice/abortion person argues A.

The Pro-life for Preborn person answers A with B.

Pro-choice/abortion answers B with C.

Pro-life for Preborn answers C with D.

Pro-choice/abortion answers D with A.

Push the button and the discussion runs its course, around and around. But notice that the pro-choice/abortion arguments are not superior, they run away from the pro-life arguments unless they are cornered. If they can not escape, they snarl and attack, ending not in Reason but in Power. That's their bottom line.

And so I say, adieu... from here.

What does that have to do with the murder of innocent lives? Lots of things have been legal, that are now regretable to say the least. Because it is legal does not make it any less of a murder.

I personally believe in ones own ability to make their own choices (if legal) vs having people make them for you. I wasnt being ugly toward you, Ive just noticed that a lot of prolifers do appear to be male. It was a simple question. If it offended you, it wasnt meant to. However, you didnt answer it so oh well.

So if you were driving down the road and saw your daughter getting ready to jump off a bridge to commit suicide "to her body", you would just drive on?

No I would NOT drive on. Abortion and suicide are two entirely differet things.

I hate abortion and if it were my decision no one would have one, it is not my decision. I think it is time to figure out WHY women feel the need for abortion as opposed to other options and stop unwanted pregnancies which in turn, will stop abortion. Banning them will only harm women who will get them regardless of the law.

Please do not put words in my mouth. I should know by now to stop posting on abortion threads. Some people cannot debate without twisting words and on this subject there are many.

Believe what you will but no I do not feel taking a life is alright in any instance but regardless of my belief abortion is legal. Personally I care more about finding realistic solutions to prevent unwanted pregnancies, than passing judgement on women who believe abortion is their only solution.

I am male and I have two children. It did not change my life physically as it did for her. But it has changed my life completely. There was a time when I was younger taht I thought abortion was OK. I cannot imagine the grief and guilt that i would feel after being present and participating in the birth of my two children. I really hate it when women think that because they carry the baby they have total right to decide what to do with them. How devistating it will be though if you do decide to have an abotrtion today and want children later in life. If they only knew what it was like to have children.
