As for the insulting remarks made about the ritual, some Christian church services I have attended could be described in the same way, especially by someone totally ignorant of the religion. As a former Christian who attended services given by many different denominations, I can truthfully say some were way out there.
Until we, the human race, can learn to at the very least tolerate our differences, until we cease to think the Earth is our playpen to destroy at will, the future will continue to be bleak indeed. And don't think it doesn't matter to you because you won't be here, we do live forever, inasmuch as we will be back and inherit the mess we left behind during out last trip.

As a Christian, I am saddened by your remarks. This is not the way to lead someone to Christ. This is not the way Jesus taught. Who are we to judge? Froggy's wife is from India, Her sister was killed trying to reach the airport to come here. arguing about religion is a never ending battle. earth religions were here long before christianity. people will chose their own religion and do what is best for them.

Why are so many christians throwing out Jesus as the one true savior? Perhaps he did die on the cross. Perhaps he was resurrected 3 days later. Perhaps not. What I am trying to say is that people will have their own beliefs and that does not make one religion any better or more truthful than the next. At least the Wiccans are doing something. What are the Christian's here doing besides putting down on others?

Wicca was pretty much started by a fella named Gardiner, and even he instructed wicca's novices to practise in silence and secrecy. This type of noteriety is just downright silly and brings out the shameful in all exposed to it.

My grandmother, who belonged all of her adult life to a very quiet "Quilting Society", use to say "if you take a little religion, add a little mental illness and stir it to vigerously? It will explode".
