Thank goodness you didn't ask for annual wages. LOL I'd be in that line lately with all the tourists staying away with all these dang high gas prices.

How much of a slow-down have you noticed? I live downtown and it seems to be similar to previous years so far--downright crowded on a pretty day, even.

Here in the valley it's been real quiet. I've talked to some others here and we're all guessing about 25-30% off so far. Maybe when it warms up everyone will get mountain fever.

I believe if your AGI is under $200.000.00 you qualify.
Where do I sign up and do I need an access code to use their computer?

I hope you're right! But, as I posted earlier, on a pretty day, it's getting hard to land a sidewalk table aroung the Arcade restaurants. Purely anecdotal, of course. I've no data on this years seasonal "migration" of the tourii.

None of my business and you certainly dont have to say but I cant get a real read on whether you are actually in Waynesville or Maggie Valley. If in Maggie, wait a little while and it should pay off for you. If you are in Waynesville, near Lake Junaluska or the Country Club or Main Street I still say you will do just fine. Lots of charming shops out that way.

And since you live out that way, check out Cabbage Rose. I love their Christmas Dept. It loves me too!:)

I think they'll give you a computer if your AGI is > $200,000. Access code is embedded in the data strip on the free-food card.
