They can close for a month because they are that good.

Everyone I know is willing to wait.

Patience.

Most of the seating is outside. Would you like to sit out there in January? Why not take a month off? Doctors and lawyers get to do that, why not these people?

Nothing about the food to write home about. The "slaw" has over cooked green peppers and onions in it - what's that all about?

Closing for such a long time shows that they hold their customers in contempt! I have to admit there BBQ is darn good, but staying closed that long is simply ridculous. I hope some disgruntled employee steals their recipe and opens up in a more convenient location and keeps regular hours. It would serve the owners right if they got put out of business for having such disgust for the customer.
Loosen up man. Good for them, the owners. They work their butts off and probably just needed a break over the holidays. Can you not survive 1 month without your 12 bones bbq?
Thanks 12 Bones, for awesome food! Here's hoping you enjoyed your break and are ready to keep smokin us some tasy BBQ!

If the food is so bad, then why is there always a huge line wrapped around the building in order to get in?
I've been to BBQ joints all around the South and 12 Bones is up there with the best.

Who cares if they stay closed. The veggies are aweful, service sucks and the bbq is average at best. The yankees may like it (ie the gma crew) because they don't know what real bbq is.

because people are stupid - they go there because it's popular. The place is way over-rated!

i still prefer good ol' Rubys in haw creek, better prices and better sides. their mac and cheese is friggin awesome. Plus they have gone to non-smoking till 10pm and they are apparently going to be having having music from 6-9 which sure beats the noise of 12 bones. Not a bad deal compared to waiting forever and sitting outside for food that is decent but not exceptional at 12 bones and is usually luke warm.

Guess some just don't know or want to face the reality that they should have stayed closed.

Because it's small - there is no where to wait. The place is a dump with awful food. It should be condemned

If people knew what kind of contaminates and sewage filled the place after the flood a couple of years ago they wouldn't go near there. Nasty!

Daily Horoscope for December 29

Leo

It's hard to pin down a certain person today because they're being so vague and dithery. Ask them a question and they'll vacillate or be unable to give you a straight answer. You might suspect them of deceitful goings on but it's far more likely that they're simply in a world of their own and can't keep their mind on anything for long. Don't worry, they'll soon be back on planet earth.
