To Whom it may concern,
As an FYI, my wife and I have been to your fine church several times, the turned-up music and long standing a bit overwhelming for us turning 70-years old next year. Obviously that is our problem, not yours.
But we had a horrible negative taste when someone at your church a few years ago allowed Heath Shuler to speak on your main stage honoring our troops, no other government official speaking that day.
We don't know if your church is allowing Shuler to get free PR again during this current upcoming election. But if interested, below are three examples you should know about that approach this subject.
To this end we hope your church makes an effort to continue to search for the truth.
The first example is a new video of Jeff Miller, the U.S. House Republican candidate for the November 2010 election in Western North Carolina, complaining at a meeting in Madison County about Shuler's very dishonest television ad, Miller a local dry cleaning businessman running against the congressman.
The second example is Shuler's YouTube ad Miller is speaking about in the above video, the Shuler ad also on his Web site accusing Miller of helping the Chinese against America. Miller responded to Shuler's ad saying, I didn't know a dry cleaner from Asheville had so much power.
A final example is an information Web page I created to warn local surfers about how Shuler lied "live" on local radio (I heard it for myself at the time in 2006) while Shuler was then campaigning for Congress in 2006, Shuler purposely just a few days before the election saying to the people of WNC he wouldn't vote for Nancy Pelosi as Leader of the House.
But upon arriving in Washington D.C. to serve the people of Western North Carolina, Shuler did the exact opposite.
If your organization ran a Moose Lodge, I wouldn't be complaining. But your organization represents the teachings of Christ, again our having seen Shuler being allowed to use your church for personal recognition.
I believe Paul had written one should avoid EVEN giving the appearance of questionable behavior (evil), and why I question Shuler ever being allowed on your stage when you knew it personally benefited him politically. If Shuler were an honorable man, he would have avoided the appearances and said no to your request. But he didn't.

Vote Democrat. Vote Heath Shuler.

Voting Republican is a vote for outsourcing jobs, foreign corporations like the Chamber of Commerce, disingenuous big spending, talking to Hindus and Philippinos about getting slammed and overbilled by Verizon and AT&T and so on, ad nauseam.

That may have been the case in the past. However there is no way in hell that I can vote for a party that continues to hand out all of these freebes. I know as a working person that the burden of paying for it will be on my back. I also can not back a president that is so out of touch the working people. He also looks the other way while the illegals invade and take jobs from his people. All so he can build his voter base while at the same time crippling the welfare system he loves so much.

No Thanks! I will take my chances in the hot oil.

May we see your webpage, crybaby? We want to see if you're as stupid there as you are here. How's that next part of your tearful letter coming, huh? Don't keep us on the edges of our seats waiting.

Sir, your fist mistake was going to a SB church, and your second mistake was staying there.

I think Paul was probably gay and had an intense dislike for women, and if you'll look into all the politicians running for office you'll see that all of them exhibit some type of questionable behavior.

Heath has my vote.

For the working man? No, the working man will get to pay for the health-care system. It'll only be free to those who don't work....

As long as you understand the bulk of the debt came from your hero "the shrub"..... as far as the free medical for freeloaders goes: so do you think they are paying for it now? At least there will be some measure of accountability, SO unlike the republicunt way of doing things..... we the working backbone of the country will see little to no difference as we always have. The poor get everything for free, the rich will get write-offs for any/all they receive and we the working class will get the bill for ALL the above (as usual).

1) "may have been the case in the past"?
Try HAS been the case in the past! & will be the case in the future if American's don't remember the reasons the republicunts were voted out of power.
2) "hand out all these freebes"
First clue you are semi-literate is you spell like a republicunt, it's FREEBIES, back to point: What freebies are NEW? The stimulus your Shrub started? Surely you ain't stupid enough to think health-care is going to be a freebie are ya? Everything else in the way of freebies has been there thru the shrub years as well.
3) "looks the other way while the illegals invade"
So your Shrub didn't look the other way? How about his daddy? How about the only president to give them amnesty, Ronnie Raygun? & yes I'll throw Clinton in too.... he did nothing as well. So don't act as though this is a new problem and the republicunts did so much more....thats bullshit and you know it. People can't be that friggin stupid, even republicunts.
As I said earlier: For a working man to vote republican is akin to a chicken turning himself in to his local KFC.
I can not argue with most of your points except the health care issue. If you think that the working man will not end up footing the bill. You are not as bright as you pretend to be.

I have been disgusted with government since I have been old enough to vote. I do not discriminate I despise each party equally. However in my 30 plus years of voting. I have never hated a president until now. This guy has to have his wings clipped. He has let the power go to his head. He acts more like a king then a president. His forced passage of the health care reform is just one example. That was the last straw for me. As an independent voter I see no choice but to go republican this go around.

Feel free to go ahead and support your monarch King Obama if you wish. That just shows loyalty not intelligence.

Don't you hate it when they let us semi-literate people vote?

I'm truly sorry for all the trouble I've caused you fine people. I must have been out of my mind to drag my sad story to these pages and drag the politics of our fair state into my religious superstitions. I know I need help with what, I have been told, is an addiction to my antiquated faith but I simply cannot stop worshiping a false god and believing in a false prophet, my Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ. Please forgive me my trespasses fellow citizens.

AMEN
