They are a National disgrace. They need to be so that everybody gets better training and practice at least once a week. For once your title is correct. If more people would have been armed and trained. The jihadist would have looked like a sponge when they carried his body out.

Oh and by the way, he was a Muslim extremist, and if other Muslims fail to stand up and denounce this, they should be deported or shot. Take your pick

Holy crap not only are you for all these social programs. You are also for gun control.

You know there are countrys that have these things. Why don't you pick one and move there? But don't be surprised if you find that the grass is not as green as you thought. Trust me I have been there.

Yup, I am for gun control. So the F what? I didn't say take everyone's gun away. Just because we have the right to own one or fifty does not mean we should have the right to abuse the privelege, which is done entirely too often.

And what are these "other" social programs that I have supported on here?

I wondered how long it would take for some dolt to blame the behavior of a religious zealot on the easy availibility of hand guns. THB must have drooled over this opportunity to limit the freedom of the vast majority of law abiding gun owners. And to compound the irrelevance the Huffington Post is used as a valid resource......sheesh, lets ask Jon Stewart, Steven Colbert, and Bill Mahar what they think as long as we are using comedy outlets as a resource.

It's a simple article, prick. It's not expected to represent anything but someone's take on the matter. Also, I'm not "blaming" the incident on hand guns but you're ignorant if you think our lame ass guns laws have no ill effects on society. Meanwhile, we'll lead the rest of the industrialized world in gun related deaths by a landslide. But go on thinking that any tom, dik or harry should be able to purchase a firearm at the local K-mart while it's a harder process to go through in order to obtain a driver's license.

Our President and his economic policies are a national disgrace but I don't see you starting a thread about it. Just like a typical Liberal Dem wit to post only what they want us to see then downplay the significance of what they don't want us to see. Do you actually beleive that gun laws had anything to do with a Muslim getting a gun while on duty in our Army? AMAZING !

You got to ask yourself. Why did Hasan buy that high-tech pistol? He already owned a .357 magnum. So why did he buy an avante garde gun which uses high-velocity ammo similar to a .223?

And how long ago did he buy it? Red flags should have popped up at ATF and FBI and Homeland Security when he bought that cop-killer pistol.

And hth did he get on base with it when soldiers are forbidden to carry there. HTH did that happen?

So many unanswered questions. Such an avoidable tragedy.

Fort Hood reminds us our best line of defense is a regulated militia via the 2nd Amendment. If the victims were carrying that SOB wouldn't have gotten through more that 1/2 magazine before he was dropped like a 200 pound stone.

The reason that SOB and all cowardly SOBs go into places like that is they know no one is armed and carrying.

Now take your asinine logic and go peddle it to someone as stupid as you!

You are having a awful day today on here. Get yourself a beer, relax and think about all you say here. The GREAT part about it all, is your days are only going to get worse. Americans are waking up.

No, what's amazing is the fact that we have the most archaic set of gun laws in the modern world...yet the only thing people yammer about after an incident like this is this be Uhmerica...nobody's takin' my gun."

"Gun policy in the United States is also highly influenced by debates over the interpretation of the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution, which states "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." Gun rights advocates generally support unrestricted gun ownership, whereas gun control advocates advocate various restrictions on gun ownership."

How long are Americans going to let Muslims attack and murder our citizens while Muslim leaders remain silent? It may one day dawn on us that the reason they are silent is they are silently applauding the terrorists.

He had 4 holes in him! If 20 people had started shooting in that building, then 100 would have been dead because they were all in uniform and who would have known who the original perpetrator was, what stupidity, but then Repuglicans are that way, just plain ignorant and hairbrained!

How long are muslims going to let Amerians attack and murder their citizens? We have murdered probably 250,000+ innocent Iraqi and Afghani citizens, men, women, children, babie, grandparents, whole families, some by Blackwater Mercs, some by "cowboy" soldiers, some by accident, some by carelessness, some just because we don't care, they are over there, they are not our neighbors. Thing is, when a child has it's legs blown off, gets burned beyond recognition or blown to bits, the parents are devastated, enraged and want revenge. Why are we in Iraq or Afghanistan, who idiocy led US there with an Army vs. the 287 CIA/Delta operatives that used warlords to run the Taliban and Al Qaeda out of Afghanistan into Pakistan. Why do we have our troops being used as "cannon fodder", even though the Taliban, insurgents, Al Qaeda don't have cannons, just IED's and small arms, a lot left over from Reagan and Bush daddy supplies of the late 1980's, 67,000 Tons in 1987 alone. Major Hanson was an American citizen, born, raised, educated and trained by the US Army, he turned criminally insane for whatever reason, he did the act on his own, don't blame all the good, honorable muslims serving in the US Military for his actions!

How stupid! As soon as the second person started shooting, then someone else would have thought they were the culprit, then when he shot him, his buddy would have shot the other person and so on until a heckuvalot of people would have shot and no one would have known who the original shooter was, just an OK Corral situation with 200 people shooting at each other in a building, mass chaos and you think that is a good thing?

Not to disappoint you with facts and truth, but I have seen several Muslim clerics here in the USA, including the imam at the Killeen mosque, get on the tube and denounce Nidal Hasan for his atrocities.

You must be more than a little oblivious to what goes on.

It's a little odd that Quakers who are just about as peaceful as any believers in the world also have the sinister King James Bible as their holy book. So I imagine peaceful Muslims can have the Koran as their holy book too.

Don't any of your reichtards put your brains in gear before speaking?

You've got a taste for adventure today, so you might decide to depart from tradition in some way and make it an unusual Christmas.
