On closer analysis, APD realized that 50% of these "new" homeless were just alter egos of Buncy with different names.

Get a job. Join the military. Live with the folks. Get a roommate.

The more stuff you give away, the more bums Asheville will attract.

No one wants to work. Everyone wants a handout. Soon it will be all handouts and no one will work. I wonder who will be providing everything when no one works? The working generation is retiring. Good luck to the rest of you. You'll need it.

I went downtown and passed out leaflets to the homeless. I gave these leaflets to the homeless at Pritchard Park and all around the Square and everywhere I could find them. Then I went to the shelters and passed them out there. This is what the leaflet says..........

GOOD NEWS! A soup and bread line for the homeless is being conducted every evening on Kenilworth Knoll in the parking lot of Extended Stay and O'Charley's. Tents, pocket change, sleeping bags, and warm clothing are also being distributed to the homeless.

Kenilworth Knoll runs east off Tunnel Rd. at the dip where the 24-hour Quick Stop is. Mack Kells is at the entrance of Kenilworth Knoll.

These spoiled brat urchins come here for fun and then realize they can only get a job at Mickey D's. The problem is they think Mickey D's is beneath them. I am sure some liberal government organization will reach out and sign them up for food stamps. Back in the day, if you didn't work you didn't eat. It should be that way for able bodied adults with only charity for those who actually cannot work. But may Jesus Christ Our Lord bless tham and hopefully give them a regular Southern-American backbone to stand up for themselves. AMEN!

You little SOB would do something like that.

BTW, what does "NRA" stand for? They seem to have some kind of club-thingy, and are really fine, upstanding citizens. They sure *do* like to talk about hunting a lot, heh!

The fears of the local citizens on Tunnel Road were quelled when the transients realized it would take "work" to actually read the leaflets.

Speak for yourself. Work gives man self esteem without which life is not really worth living. We need balance..ie. "all work and no play" There's nothing more satisfying than to step back and enjoy a job well done.
Tell that to the 55% of the population that now receives SNAP food stamps, child welfare, SSI, Obamaphones and a myriad of other handouts. I worked my whole life. I am referring to the people of today. If you think they'll enjoy it so much go get them off their fat supported arses and get them to work. No one else seems to be able to accomplish that.

You seem oblivious to the economic realities we're living with. Wages have stagnated and in some cases even gone down while major corporations and stock holders are reaping huge profits off the backs of the working man. Before you go spouting off your opinions on the subject, do some research. You might be amazed at the depths of your ignorance

Part of what you say is true, part is not. I've worked in HR more than 30 years. Wages have gone down but aren't some lower wages better than no wages at all? There are jobs open. No one wants them. They are't minimum wage, but they do require that you show up, that you can pass a drug test and that you work every day. No one wants to do that. It's easier to jump in your car and talk on your Obamaphone on the way to pick up all your hand outs for the month.

Get over yourself. I am not talking about every single family or person in the U.S. I'm talking about that large population that will NOT work.

Again, I'm glad I'm not dependent on the American taxpayer dollars to live for the rest of my life. Soon not enough will be paying in to support these do nothings and then the under-retirement age group will have to make do on their own. Be smart and plan for your own retirement.

I wouldn't mind doing a drug test, as long as I would *have the option of choosing how it's done*.
Urinating in front of someone is very demeaning, especially when you have nervous bladder syndrome. But when you don't have the option of offering a blood test, or a hair test, or even a cheek swab, when these tests are readily available, and/or EVEN MORE RELIABLE, is just silly.
... but since these options are NOT available, I only have the option of opposing drug tests, which is counterproductive.

Honey it must be a challenge to have a father like that. But the Bible says you must respect your father. I strongly urge you to get him to a Bible believing church immediately and pray together that God's only begotten Son, Jesys Christ, remove his sins and make him whole anew. AMEN! This I pray in Jesus' name. Praise God Almighty!
