I shop Aldi on Patton Ave. Very clean store with excellent prices. They have their own brand in most cases but I find them to be of excellent quality.
Have not been there, but have heard great things. Anything has to be better than our local chain. Seems to me they forget where they started.

I'm certain you will feel the same once you have shopped Aldi. They have been very successful in our area. They started with one store across from Wal-mart East, built a store on Patton, and was told they are building another store on Airport Road.

It does not bother me to put my own groceries in the car, to save
50%. I do go to Ingles for certain items they do not carry at Aldi.

When I go to Aldi, I'm always amazed how busy they have gotten over the past year. Sometime I think why did all these people discover my store, especially when I have to wait in line (lol.

Heck, you have to carry your own groceries at Ingles. They claim to have carrying service, but I can't remember the last time I saw them carry out anything for anyone. Most times they are too busy hanging around the "office" talking.

All the major stores do it. If you check your sales slip carefully you will find it often. You give a green light to the stores to do it to everybody else because they get by with it and get even more brazen at it -- and because Steven Troxler, the crooked elected sonofabitch in Raleigh at the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Affairs, looks the other way because his palm is getting greased by these thieves.

Ingles does it, Target does it, Bi-Lo does it, WalMart does it, and yes, even Aldi does it. I have caught every one of them red-handed at it.

It's sad that a company that was made here in this area might be doing this even by accident.

Ingles no longer looks at Easter as a holiday , it's employs are forced to work and don't earn a holiday, because Easter isn't a holiday, but New Years is? Wtf? What happened to god ?

It is true. New Year's Day is a legal holiday while Easter is not. You can thank the federal government for that, not Ingles. Ingles has no say in what is or is not a holiday although they could offer let people off if they wanted it. I bet Easter is a very busy day at Ingles due to the large number of people that have a big Easter dinner.

Please clarify if you are looking for God or an increased paycheck. If you are so concerned about religious observation start with capitalizing God. It's the traditional way to write God and it's respectful.
