Howdy grocery shoppers, I'm Little Bob Ingle, your new owner of Ingles Markets since daddy died.

Our scanners at the cash registers have minds of their own. They often charge more for the grocery than you figured when you picked it up off the shelves or out of our produce department. That is because sometimes our scanners have glitches in them and don't do right. And we can't figure it out. So when you are overcharged don't fly off the handle. Just go to the manager and get your refund. Now he will probably want to question you and take up about 10 or 15 minutes of your time and fret about who would have done such a thing as to overcharge you and make you walk back with him to where you bought the item you got rooked on, but just be patient. He will finally get you your refund. Thank you, suck... Uh, thank you, shoppers, for buying your groceries with us. You know that we're about the only gig left in town. And for you who has been scammed by our scanners and walks on through without checking your sales slips, we thank you for the bonuses. Heh heh heh.

I've been trading with Ingle's for 45 years and have had very few problems. I know that you would never get such treatment at the Ingle's in Weaverville. You must be an unlucky person.

They have his picture on the computer in customer service. They will not hesitate to call the police next time they have issues with him.

Unbelievable to rip a company that has provided western NC and other areas with thousands of jobs across several decades.

All retail merchants experience some level of checkout error. As long as they remedy the situation and it is not being done in a deliberate or systematic manner, it's not an issue.

Before he quit Ingles near the Tunnel he shopped at the other Ingle's, Oteen, 1141 Tunnel Rd., N. Asheville, corner of Merrimon Av. and Beaverdam Rd., and US 25 Biltmore Forest; and they commit SCANNER FRAUD at those Ingles too. He's been fugged so much at the Tunnel Rd. Ingles where Lynn Owenby is manager, he's had enough.

Now he shops at Bi-Lo, Oakley, WalMart (You'd better watch these bastards too.), Harris Teeter, and Fresh Market.

Shop at Ingles, sucker! They're waiting to scam you, pick your pocketbook, and laugh up their sleeves at you, Slowwww Sam, you poor old maroon!

Did the master of speech and the master of writing make a grammatical error. Alzheimer Disease is a pitiful situation and I don't like watching you spiral downward on these forums. Give up!

The best part is watching four teen employees stand and talk to the person working the YOUscan while five others stand in the "office". I mean really! Like they want you to believe they can't see you from behind a four foot plywood wall topped with plexiglas. The signs that elude that carry out is part of their service are especially cute as well.

Only problem youve had with Ingles is getting everything to the bottom shelf were you can reach it.

Not really. Of all you mentioned Aldi's is probably the best. The others are in the scratch n dent and past expiration league. I'll gladly pay the difference for non-expired, not beat up food.
