Stoney Ward has an extensive criminal record in Pontotoc County. His father is Rocky Doolen Ward who was convicted of first degree murder in the Pontotoc County District Court on March 2004 for a homicide that occurred in Seminole County in 1996.

whatis the point in putting peoples parents names in news articles no matter what they have done it does sound personal just because his father was found guilty does not mean he is besides he was tried in ada doesnt anybody read books like dreams of ada or the innocent man it dont take a genius to figure out about corrupt justice

I didn't understand putting his fathers name in the article either. Stoney and his father are well known and have caused many people in the community grief. Michaelle, his father is guilty. Don't believe everything you read in a book. If you knew more about the cases, the people involved, and the evidence, you'd realize that the books are not 100% truthful and leave out many things.
With respect to Stoney Wards guilt, I know that he is because I am the one that is going to have to testify to it.

I was replying to michaelle as to possibly why they mentioned his father and her comments on the books. Personally, I don’t think that his father should have been included in the article because he can’t help what someone else has done.
