Alleged drunk driver indicted in death of girlfriend

Manslaughter charges led the list of indictments handed down by the Pike County grand jury last week.

How would you know their history? How many DUIs did Alicia have before she was killed? About 10. That is a long history of drug abuse. As far as the guy he loved running over to williamson to get pills too. Does this sound right? Mistakes? His mistake killed Alicia.

Du, DUI, drinking, not drug abuse.. his mistake didnt kill Alisha, she made the choice to be with him and was a party girl all the way. also she drove the truck all the time, I belive she was behind the wheel that day. she had 7 kids, 6 living and the state had taken them all from her for drugs abuse, shouldnt blame the guy for her poor judgement, they should let him walk...

What about the other car that got hit head on? Luckily the other people survived. That is scarey two pill heads driving down the road so high they can not even hold a vehicle between the lines on Penny Road. DUI doesnt mean just alcohol. I am sure he was blowed away on pills. Another poster said he loved to go to Williamson and get pills. This guy must have liked that kind of lifestyle.

Well I am sick of pillheads driving high and hitting innnocent people. But if the guy was drunk does that make it any better? Why else would someone go to Williamson Doctors such as Hoover or Shafer? Its just a pill mill there. There was an article about this guy and how a state cop got him no0t long before for driving while taking pills.

She has paid the ultimate price for her choices. So, no matter what she did or didn't do, he now should pay for the choices he made.

I certainly agree that people taking drugs or, driving while drinking should be arrested and taken off the road.
My point is unless you know something for a fact then it should not be stated as "I know" because if you were not there that night, reviewed the medical records etc. Then you don't know. You are only repeating and spreading gossip unnecessarily.
That was someone's daughter and mother that got killed and that family loved this person regardless of her actions. They do not need "know it all people spreading gossip.How do you know the place is a pill mill unless you have been there yourself and received pills. Know it alls end up making it look very bad on themselves because if they know it they had to be involved with it. POINT: Quit spreading gossip.

If you are there and actually see it and know what they are then it is fact. If someone tells you they saw it then you don't know for a fact. If you haven't gotten pills from a medical clinic then you should not say pill mill just because someone told you that! Gossip is a very dangerous thing that hurts many people. I usually try to remember this saying before I start finding fault in other people " If I want to see fault in someone all I have to do is look in the mirror". That pretty much stops me from talking about other people because none of us are perfect.
However, one thing we do agree on is people on drugs or drunk should be arrested. I think their license should be taken right then and not re-issued because I have children on these roads that
I love and want to protect. I just do not believe in idle gossip and passing hear-say. If people are going to do that they need to say "this is what I heard not; I know for a fact". Do you know how many people have passed away and the first thing people say is drug overdose. Autopsy is returned no drugs in system but the damage to that person and his/her family is already done.
Unless someone saw a toxology report no one knows what was in the people's systems. I didn't even know the people. I only know of the accident in question and that someone lost a family member.
Would you want someone on here trashing one of your family members who had passed away. Family dosen't care what killed someone. All they know is they no longer have them. This is called un-conditional love which is what all parents have for their children. PEOPLE DO NOT NEED TO BE SPREADING GOSSIP!

Dr Hoover/Shaffer are two of the worst doctors around. Nothing but drug addicts. Ask any drug addict what kind of place that is. They will tell you its a pill mill.
