You can really get a good glimpse at the Sentinel & Enterprise's readership by looking at these comments. All these comments point to bitter, older, barely high school educated white people. Thank God you lame boomers are dying out, your ignorant, racist, divisive views haven't done squat to make this area a better place to live. Instead, all you can do is yell "Puerto Rican!". Nice. Too bad Puerto Rico is basically a state. You might as well be yelling "A guy from Michigan!" Too bad nobody born before 1975 seems to understand that.

So, yes they are a part of the US, but not a state. There are alot of people with "hispanic sounding" last names, but that does not necessarily mean that they are as such. Last names mean nothing, it is the person who is bad.

first of all good friend, your grammar and spelling suck, second yes it was racist to say ricans dont camp ill give you that. but it is just as dumb for YOU to say ricans are bad because we are always blaming them for everything. that is just an easy out.

I am extremely disgusted with the racist remarks that a few of you have posted with no regard for the younger generation who picks up this attitude and passes it forward. I am truly disappointed in the way that grown adults have to display their inner hatred(and that is what it comes down to) for another human being, because of his race. I am not saying that the actions of these boys are justified,in any way, believe me, it angers me just as much as the next person, I am afraid to raise my children in this city honestly, but I not once thought of their race as a factor. I am trying to teach my children that we are all GOD's children, white, black, asian, PUERTO RICAN...regardless, I hope that maybe you take a moment and realize that these kids can feel your hatred and that is like adding fuel to a fire. Racism is taught. You can't tell me that this is your country alone, as I read that one post saying to get out of the country, well sweetie, we couldn't tell your people that when you invaded our land and had my ancestors on reservation camps and raped my female ancestors and left them to starve, I could say to you then as an American Indian woman, why don't you take your own advice...but that is not the way we are.I hope you find a better way of expressing your anger.
