Why should I explain to the voters why I left. I never explained why I did anything while I was on the committee.

To Typical you must not have kids in Ashby Elementary School or come to any of the school meetings - if you are so clueless you shouldn't be posting - from helping to build Allen Field Playground to The Garden Project to community service and talking to teachers and parents before making decisions Tamara did an amazing job - and we miss her - with her we had a voice - one we no longer have until someone else decides to step up in Ashby which is very doubtful

oh - and by the way - the person that answers the phone at the school is there because of Tamara - if not she would be at the White House - again get the answers before scrutinizing.

The fact that she said that she has no comment tells me that there is more to this. Didn't another member from Ashby quit a year or so ago as well? That tells me either the problem is coming from something in the Ashby schools, or there are some major problems on our school committee and/or the administration.
I hope if there is more to this, that Ms. Leclerc comes out and says so. We deserve to know why so many things are going wrong in our schools. If we don't know, we can't do anything about it as the super seems to have a tight reign over everyone under her. |

Tamara refused comment because the reporter actually drove to her house, said he was in her driveway and wanted an interview - I would have done exactly the same, stalking is not a way to get an interview...for the past year and a half she has been trying to get parents involved, asking them to come to meetings to at least let Ashby have a voice besides her own - I went to some and some mothers would come once then that was it...there is only so much you can ask of people in this town and asking them to get involved isn't one.
