Can you legally have your workplace office manager as your fellow selectman? Leave it to Ashby's new selectman Steven Ingerson to have his workplace secretary/office manager run as the third selectman on their board. If it should be legal, is it right? How can they possibly work together 8 hours a day 5 days a week and not influence each other or discuss issues. I'm sure they will say they won't discuss any town business out of their meeting, but how will we ever know for sure? Can Martha Svedberg really ever vote independently when Steven signs her paycheck every week? Now if this was a business with hundreds of people maybe they could get by, but this is a small business of under 10 people. Steven ran on a platform of transparency and honesty. That certainly didn't last long, what is your agenda Mr Ingerson?
