Draft the big guy. We need him back. Saw him the other day and he's tanned, rested, and ready. Had his teeth capped, coloring his hair, and even had the liver spots removed. Plus he's back on his medication. We couldn't ask for better representation.

I'm for any person named Fagan...with a last name like that he will add some color to the town. Congratulations to "hose nose" and "stog", you are still remembered.

What do you mean with a last name like that? Curious!

Just what we need in Ashburnham. Another "Comes From" who wants to change what he knows nothing about!

Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what is going on in this town!

Is this the best we can come up with? I see BFI & Wal-Mart moving in.

You are the rudest most ignorant people that this town has for citizens! Don't see any of you chronic complainers throwing your hats in the ring to run and "fix" the town. Sit home and whine like little babies. Would you like some cheese with that?

Good luck Greg, hope you win and hope you make some deep changes, may as well give these losers something to really complain about! You have my vote!!!

Spoke to Mark. Claims he can't run as it would impact his Social Security and pension income. He would rather remain on the Renewable Energy Committee as ,at his age, "wind" is a critical and over abundant commodity.

Ms. Whitney will nominate him. Her husband will second. He wants to "continue the momentum" In other words... no change.

That exactly how I read that...
I just want to here "positive" words about a candidates plan of action and exactly how they plan to execute it...not, we need to communicate, we need to be transparent, we need business...that is pretty much what every person says when running for any seat. Boring. How are YOU different?

Great point. I do have some ideas and will make the proposals. In essense - I think we should look at who we are as a town - and this is up to the leadership and the town to self assess ourselves. I think there are some answers out there. What I will be doing is putting together some points with a plan of action - or atleast some ideas that the towns people can think about. We have to start someplace. I am not happy with the status quo either. And finally, would like to hear your ideas as well. I can be reached at filarial@hotmail.com. In the comming weeks I will communicate these more.

Greg, I'm not from Ashburnham but I have enjoyed watching their politics over the years. My suggestion would be to retain an agent prior to running as it's a soap opera better than anything on daytime TV.

Well there are usually a number of self appointed anonymous experts who show up here. Where are all the experts now, only ONE candidate steps forward? If he wins by default and disappoints people no one will have any right to complain. But they will anyway.

just because we comment doesn't make anyone an expert and just because some people don't want to run doesn't mean we can't have an opinion about the people running or prefer they don't. Just keep fair and clean is what i say.
