Spent nearly five grand having a Vintage Air A/C system installed. Do expect paying top dollar and having to go back several times to get it fixed and paying each time.

We never want a customer to leave unhappy, and I apologize that we didn't meet your expectations. We'd sure like an opportunity to fix that, and hope you will contact us directly about this

I would not trust Tom or Matt with any project every again. You can be the judge.

They will give you a quote just to earn the business. They will begin the work and then offer you an over / under report to show you how your build is going and when its time to pick up your car and pay the bill, it is thousands of dollars above what the estimate was and what change orders were. Total Shock!

Matt's answer to me when I questioned the bill was, "You either pay the bill or I will keep your car and then charge you storage until you do." SAD!

Here is a quote from Tom in an email when I inquired on why we were off target:
"I'll have Matt or Billy call you to discuss the details, I'm out of the detail loop on this one." He didn't even bother to return a phone call, instead wants to hide behind his employees.

Obviously he doesn't care to be involved in the details of your project. According to Tom's posts about calling him directly to discuss, I was always referred to Matt, who I found worthless and less qualified to talk about cars.

They will turn your project into being their project and charge you for whatever work they do - even if you didn't approve the change order.

I should have went to Joel Ross at CedarPark

Extremely poor work - exceeded original written estimate many thousands of dollars. Not a single knowledgeable mechanic in the shop. The body and paint man was good but he left the shop not long after working on my 57 Vette. After getting the car back I took it to a qualified mechanic who checked it out and said the car was not safe to drive. In addition to the poor quality work they also put some of my original parts on another 57 Vette owned by a friend of Tom's. I wouldn't let Sterling Hot Rods or any shop run by Tom and Billy work on any car of mine. I'm only sorry I didn't write this review a lot sooner. Maybe I could have kept someone else from making the same mistake I made.
