I think this is growth that this community really needs. But the ploblem is you have people that want everything to stay the same because they are scared that this mAy cause wages to go up so they can`t pad there pockets. So let this community GROW so more people work here not out of town.

Ya KNOW..I am TIRED of OLD FOGEYS CONTROLLING THIS TOWN>>WE SHOULD BE THE SIZE OF McDOUNOUGH, GA AT LEAST BY NOW! IF we had started organizing and putting in infrastructure when Tifton did we would be AT LEAST as big as Tifton by now! We have MORE EXITS than much bigger towns as we are blessed by distance and interstate access with a wealth of land to develop....let's get together and buy those old fogeys out and make it so our sons and daughters see the Armed Forces as the ONLY WAY OUT OF HERE and give them someting to live for RIGHT HERE in Turner County!! LET THE TOWN GROW AND PUT WATER ON BOTH SIDES OF I-75 NOW!!!!!!!!!! Army carreerist who would have liked to stay home but had NO CHOICE because nothing was here for me!

I Agree 100%! Their so afraid of change. They want Ashburn to stay small forever. But people, its the 21st Century. Not 1905. Let new companies and infrastructure come in and build the town up. Communites can't rely on agriculture to support them these days.

The City of Ashburn has water, sewer, and gas lines on the east side of Exit 82 and Exit 84. Efforts are underway to discuss the sale of land east of Exit 82 with the current owner.

And what do they plan to do with it, if they sucessfully acquire the land?
