Hello from Southampton, MA

I think its terrific that the
students of Ashburn, GA are leading
the way to a united and just world
where persons of all 'colors' find
common ground and can enjoy and
appreciate differences. It took
a lot of courage and I applaud you.

Thank you for letting the country know
'all peoples' can live, work, and yes, play together if there is good will.

Congratulations on finally overcoming a long over due and apparently self imposed color barrier. The world will never be at peace until simple things like this become long forgotten memories. God Bless the four students who took this brave and enlightened step.

Wow, now that we got this over with can we now focus on the fifty percent black drop out rate in high school and brothers killing brothers, also the crap rap music that cuts down woman and call the hooooos. I want to know how many country songs the praise woman were played at this prom, there are many of them out there. the song she everything to me is a whole lots diffrent then a rap song call a woman a bitch,,, Boy its not have to see why the two would want separate proms

I am from the class of '77 and many people I meet can not believe that my school and town (Ashburn) was like this. Not only was the porm like this , but we had a black and white homecoming queen (it may still be that way now), and until the only theater burned down in 1972, blacks still HAD to sit unstairs. Oh, do they still sit in separate waiting areas at the doctor's office? Or maybe that is next to go.
