The look good on the outside, but are not QUALITY homes. Plus you will end up paying MORE than if you just went with a better builder.

Not sure who is a good contractor in Clarksville, however WORD OF MOUTH is normally the best advertising. If you like the plans for the United Build homes you can tell that to the good contractor when you find one. ANY good contractor can build a house just like the plans for the United Built homes.

HAD A HOME BUILT ON MY LAND, SLAB IS OVER 16" THICK WITH 30" BEAMS(THIS MEANS A VERY THICK SLAB,THAT WONT MOVE), WALLS ON 16" CENTERS,
(THIS MEANS ALMOST DOUBLE THE BOARDS OF MOST CONTRACTORS), REAL OAK CABINETS,(NOT THE CHEAP HOME DEPOT CRAP),METAL EXTERIOR DOORS(WOOD DOORS ARE CHEAPER), AS MUCH INSULATION AS YOU CAN FIT IN
A 2X4 WALL,WITH O.S.B ALL THE WAY AROUND(THIS IS REAL PLYWOOD NOT THE CHEAP FOAM BOARD ALOT OF CONTRACTORS USE, RADIANT BARRIER ON THE DECKING,
(JUST ANOTHER PLUS AND TYPE OF INSULATION), LOW E METAL WINDOWS(ITS THE LAW), WITH A BIG 4 TON A\C UNIT. I'M LIVING IN IT AND IT ALL COST ME 75 A SQUARE FOOT. ANYONE WHO SAYS ITS NOT A NICE HOME DOESNT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS COMPANY.
I BOUGHT A HOME FROM THIS COMPANY, I DO NOT WORK FOR THEM AND WILLNOT RECIEVE ANY COMPENSATION FOR WRITING THIS.

United Bilt Homes builds a good home, good materials, etc. but you do not know much
about home building if you think the slab is 16 inches of concrete. It's 4 inches of concrete
and the rest is gravel fill. Studs 16 inch on center is common building practice. Most
wood exterior doors are more expensive than metal. They save you money by doing
the financing theirselves and letting you do some of the finish work. Glad you like your
home......

Ummmm we used them. They will not have your house finished in 3-6 months like they say. It WILL be crappy carpentry. The cabinets WILL be cheap and looks like mobile home cabinets and they have NO creativity. Like NONE. So anything out of the original plans you want to add or do you are screwed. You get way you pay for with them. You NEVER hear from the sales person again once you sign papers.
