Goodness... take a breath! The business owner you are slandering has nothing to do with the county becoming wet. He drank at work before the county became wet, minors were sold alcohol and nothing will change. I'm happy that law abiding citizens don't have to drive so far and the tax money stays in Sharp County. What is your point?

Excuse me but the bible that you people covet and thump so hard specifically says "to drink and be merry" drinking isn't bad. Being a constant drunkard is. And it's putting more money into AR's pockets maybe now the state can pay for all the bigger and better churches you people seem to need.

Post # 3 is right on. Harold is right nothing will change. If you have a alcohol problem now you will still have a alcohol problem. And if don't have a alcohol problem you wont have a alcohol problem. If you drink and drive now you will still drink and drive, If you don't drink and drive your not going to start because we are now wet. And may prevent accidents driving back from state line. Nothing will change, Lets get wet on the state wide ballot.

Alcohol is a 100% natural process given to us By God to enjoy.

Some people forget or wont admit the fact Jesus didn't turn wine into water, He turned water into whine. Like anything else alcohol is not the problem the abuse if alcohol is. There is sex abuse too maybe we should ban sex because a few misuse it.

For the person that said "what money, lol" well you are sadly mistaken and uneducated! There is money, just ask the small stores that are now selling beer and wine. Some of them were going to close theirs doors, until they were able to sell beer and wine. It was absolutely right to become a wet county!!!!!!! All our businesses will grow and prosper with more people coming in our area. For the original poster....ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? HE JUST START DRIVING DRUNK BECAUSE WE ARE A WET COUNTY?????? IMPOSSIBLE DUMBNESS!!!!

Going wet will change nothing as far as alcohol problems go. It will stay the same, We just don't have to go near as far for a 6er as we did and the money will stay in Arkansas and Sharp county. But you can bet your ass of this, The first time there is a nasty accident out of the 4 lane and alcohol is involved rather it came from Sharp county or not the anti alcohol nuts will have a field day with it.
